Blizzard can't seem to make up their mind regarding druids. First druids are able to use consumables and get weapon procs in forms in the beta client,
then we're told it's a bug... and now? Now we're told that, while the implementation of this on the beta realms was a bug, the developers
want druids to be able to use some consumables and some weapon procs in forms, and are in the process of evaluating which ones to allow. Of consumables under consideration, Vaneras of the EU forums mentions rage potions, healing potions, thistle tea, and healthstones. So perhaps it's early yet to give up all hope for the class -- changes are still in progress.

Third post ft....Wait, you are both idiots.
I still don't think that an animal can uncork/drink from a bottle. Weapon procs seem okay, though...

Yeah, and I don't think an 8 foot tall cow man can turn into a cat. It just doesn't make sense to me...oh wait, its a video game.

I really hope Blizz ain't going to nerf the druids, when I play my friend's druid I find it really enjoyable. It's really fun and it takes some skill to become a decent PvP-er as a druid.
About the consumables, I don't know tbh, I don't think they should be able to uncork a bottle and take a sip from it(I know, it is a video game). But I've always thought that it's stupid that weapon procs don't work in forms for druids, don't see why they shouldn't change that, should've announced that as a bug in the first place.

It's a video game in an imaginative virtual world. Everything is possible, from flying lions to the unlimited number of life you can have.
Taurents can use potions and they are cows! Haven't you already seen a bear or cat drink in real life? Then why not in the game? Ok, I've never seen them drink from a bottle, but I've seen dogs drinking beer from the bottle! You shouldn't need a lot of imagination to piture a druid in form using potions... come on!

#8....and they get the potion from where exactly?
I'm not arguing, my main is a druid. I did feel it was kinda inconsistent getting bonuses from weapons but not the procs.
For the same reasons I still don't see why we can't skill up our equipped weapons in feral form.

I think this entire druid thing is dumb what is the big problem with druids and complaining about their class getting nerf. Fyi druids it happens to every class and pots arent really that big a deael its not like most pots are really that useful as it is. ANd Weapon procs I really think they should let you have some of them but thats the price you pay for playing a hybrid class. And really weapon procs are kinda useless most of the time, unless its something that gives you like an extra 50 attack power or something along those lines.

To #9 : I'm French, you should thanks me for the effort of learning your language.
To #10 : Where do you get all your 80 items that you carry from? (5 x 16 slot bags) That's excluding the ones that are stackable!

For those who are concerned about realism, I suppose a druid who shifts to forms should really have all his gear, potions and inventory drop on the ground. Apparently all that gear become magically merged into his animal form... I suppose potions would as well.
Druids in form used potions in D2... no one complained.
