We've talked about your goals for the expansion before, but what are you goals for before the expansion? I'd imagine that with the changes, lots of people have their sights set on getting some (or lots) of the PVP gear before Burning Crusade gets installed (and it all becomes outdated-- HA!). Personally, I'm still aiming to get my Rogue to 60-- currently, he's stuck at 49 because I really love that 40-49 PVP bracket, but I think he'll make it the last ten levels before January. And my guild is about to start BWL, so I wouldn't mind seeing us down Nef with all that new PVP gear before the Dark Portal opens up.So what are you racing to finish? Theantipoet has some pretty good goals over on LJ, including soloing the Princess in Mara, and 8/8 Tier 2 (I'd like to get 8/8 of a set on my Shammy, but considering my luck, I'm not holding my breath). Let's hear what you're aiming to complete before you put the BC disk in.

From my experiences in beta, PVP gear is NOT replaced by "level 62 greens" as everyone would have you think. Heck, just search thottbot beta and see for yourself. The Marshal/Warlord gear will last you well into your 60s, and you might start replacing individual pieces around the level 66ish area but you'll definitely still be using some of it when you first pop level 70 IMO.

Hmm.. Unfinished business, eh? I can't say that I have a whole great deal of it. There's a hunter I'd like to get to 60, currently sitting @ 44. I'd like to get my Warlock to 60, too. I don't think that's happening though, but if the hunter makes 60, it won't keep me from trying.
Anything beyond that is just stuff that I'd like to do. I'd like to drop Twin Emps and C'thun. I'd like to finish off my AQ20 set.
Oh, and then there's the thing I said I'd do ages ago, and still haven't: I want to finish every quest currently in the game on my Shaman.

Various characters:
Dwarven priest (main) - Guild to kill Nef (getting close), get the full PVP FM gear, get the GM Healing hammer and Off hand healing tome, to see Naxx
Orc Warrior (used to be main) - Get the GM weapons
Dwarven Paladin (alt) - Get to 60 (currently level 55) and complete the master hammersmith quest; GM 2H Hammer if possible
Dwarven Hunter (alt) - get to 50 (currently level 34), RP him more

On my 60 lock, simple goals...
Get Spellblade + Tome of Destrucion,
and get the +41 stamina staff just for the heck of it...

I would like to get the full GM set and a GM 2hander and 1 hander and shield for my Paladin. Most likely not going to happen, however, since I don't have the time to PVP that much.
I'd also like to get some GM gear with my Rogue and Warrior, but I'm not holding my breath...

I'm not sure. My main is only lvl33 at the moment so I could either try to get him up to 60 asap for either raiding, PvPing or the general stuff of being 60, or I could just level him normally and (probably not hit 60 when the exp comes out) keep leveling till I reach 70. I would like to visit all the raid-instances though.

My guild is on a relative new server where Naxx is pretty much not done yet. (Only the first boss killed there)
We had Nef down to 18% (Zerg stage) but never below that. Sadly due to the new patch everyone deceded it will be easier to grind GM gear in stead of BWL so our PvE progression has come to a grinding (no pun intended) halt.
Frankly I would love to see Nef down. Realisticly speaking, it will not happen....

#2 Get the epic pvp set for my hunt (and my Priest of course)

Since I'm sick of alliance(too many 12 yr olds playing and asking stupid questions) I'm switching to Horde. Making a Troll hunter. Id like to get him to 40 before xpac, Which might be possible because of christmas breaks and all.

Nothing, actually. I have played only about 1/4 as much as I used to in the past couple weeks. When the expansion comes out I plan to roll up a new character (presumably on a new server) and start a PvP guild with some friends. So even though I have a level 60 Alliance rogue and a level 60 Horde shaman right now... I have other games to play at the moment.

I'm trying to get Exalted with Argent Dawn (2000 to go as of this last cauldron run) of a night local time, and get honor/marks for a HWL weapon during the day local time (i want the 2h mace with +dmg/heal on it).

I'm still on the grind of my first 60, so I don't really have anything I want done before TBC specifically. Though my guild just recently got the plans for Sageblade...which is the ultimate Warlock sword...and I'm itching to make it to 59 (currently at 53) and farm the mats so I can get my hands on it.

our guild has C'Thun to about 30% on Phase 1 and we've decided to push forward, stop dabbling in naxx and farming BWL, and just drop him before the patch, if not New Years!

Load up on Jewelcrafting mats for AH PvP when BC is release. I have 4 Alts full of thorium, gems, and crafting mats.

1. Complete T1, missing chest.
2. Complete T2, missing chest, shoulders.
3. Win Broodlord's head.
4. Get Asscandy or Zinrok.
5. Finish off 8 field duty quests (kill bugs in 2 hives).
