Healing classes and DPS gear in raids

Wait. So Gist, youre saying tanks should not only be spending DKP tanking gear but on your gear to heal too? Why stop there? Why shouldn't they have to pay for DPS gear for the DPSers so they wont be killed if the healers oom? Are you coming from a functional guild?
