I've quit a handful of times since release. I've also never bothered to take a toon to 60. I can't stand milling around for hours looking for a group, but it is pretty nigh impossible to do dungeons on one's own, much less many of the quests. I usually get to around mid-fourties before I start thinking "Hmm, maybe another alt would suffice."The thing to keep in mind though is this: it is a game. Not only is it merely a game, but it is one with over seven million subscribers (I'm wondering how many of those are the free accounts that gold spamers are abusing). Anyway, not all of those people are always going to play this game. While it is quite entertaining, it is fairly time consuming and, if taken to the extreme, life consuming. If anything, those of us who either take breaks or jump ship altogether are the healthy minority. Those that quit because they don't understand game mechanics enough to see that most of the moves that Blizzard makes are in the interest of players (writ large) are too shortsighted to be bothered with anyway. Good riddance.
