Mostly, full group or raid wipes are lame. Really, really lame. But sometimes, every once in a while, you'll have a wipe come along that is so spectacular, so fun, and so memorable, that it almost makes the repair costs worth it.
So let's hear your best wipe story. The shot above wasn't actually a wipe (we finished the Tiger boss in ZG with one solitary hunter left, and it was awesome), but my guild will always joke about the time our Warlock lead accidentally fell off the bridge in MC and onto the head of Golemagg-- who then proceeded to make his way all the way around the instance, grabbing every lava pack and puppy on the way, and crushing every single one of us out of existence. TS was just full of people screaming, yelling, and laughing the whole time. Oh, the Horde-anity!

For some reason we screwed up on Golemagg. I don't even remember how. I think the server pissed on us and some of the healers went offline mid fight. We where wiping on one of the easiet mobs in MC. Everyone was blowing what ever they could to take him down before we wiped. A shaman was the second to last person up and was tanking him. I dropped serpent sting and was doing my best to dps him. Shaman gets killed and he comes after me. I pop detterance and tank him. I lasted a few seconds and get jacked up.
Its a wipe...until
Shaman that just died ankhs up and frost shocks Golemagg. Gets off a few hits and then dies.
Ok, it really is a wipe this time.
Jashin's serpent sting has hit Golemagg for 189 natural damage
Golemagg has died...
???
The shaman that ankh'ed was up just long enough for golemagg not to reset.. and my serpent sting to tick one more time. We wiped, but stil killed him. One of the coolest wipes ever.

Before I quit, my guild still talked about one wipe we had in ZG, clearing the trash before Bloodlord.
Basically, we had THREE people feared into THREE different packs of blood drinkers. Yeah, it's a wipe and everyone knows it, so I decide to have a little fun....
I turn on vent, crank up my "Soundtrack" mod, and start blasting the Benny Hill theme song as we're gradually picked off by a mob of trolls in red suits. All frustration with the wipe immediately went out the window because everyone was laughing so hard.

My greatest wipe of all was when my old guild was on an MC run where we almost didn't wiped on Rag when we should have (30 ppl, not enough dps, saw the sons twice, mages where lom, ouch.)
We all wiped, MT went and we thought "right, that's it, good thing I bought lots of FR pots 'cause we could be here a while."
Anyways I was the only 1 left at the end and Rag was on less than 1% so being feral i thought "What the hell? I'll just go bear form!"
I feral charged him, got one shot off (a crit too) which hit and killed him at the same time that I died, greatest moment of my WoW history!

WE HAD THE SNAKE BOSS COME AND KILL US WHILE WE WERE FIGHTING THE PANTHER BOSS.
HANDS DOWN. BEST. WIPE. EVER.
for the curious, you used to be able to kite the tiger bosses buddies away, then feign death and they would bug out and just stand at the dead hunter, meaning the tiger fight just became a whole lot easier... our kiter got a little over zealous and jumped down into the snake bosses area... (we start with panther and go backwards in ZG)
