Nifty maps of Outland zones
Since this is the international year of the spy (2-007), and every spy needs reliable intelligence, I humbly present to you the following. Gnomeproblem.com has posted some lovely maps of 5 of the 7 Outland zones (they're missing Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley [thanks, Kaziel]). The maps include sub-zones, so you should have no trouble figuring out where exactly that In case you guys haven't noticed yet, by the way, you can now see Outland and its zones in the in-game map. I particularly like the furthest-zoomed-out map, with the demon and the white-haired guy. But what's that thing just to the left of Azeroth, with the propellor?

Minor note: 5 of the 7 zones. They are missing Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley.

1. You don't know what a Titan is.
2. You don't know what a Nathrezim is.
3. You don't know a goblin zeppelin when you see one?
4. Six Outland Zones?
/sigh

There are many things I do not know. My problem is that I never played Warcraft III much. It's the only major Blizz game I didn't beat (getting to 60 is beating WoW, right? ;). I've considered picking it up just to fill in my gaping WoW lore holes, but after trying the first few maps I just found it too painful. Not sure why.
As far as not knowing the number of Outland zones, I've been deliberately staying away from BC info so I've got something to discover when I start playing.

If all you want is to fill in the lore holes of WC3, you could always use the cheat codes to make you invincible.

1. Do you know what a Titan looks like? I don't, I didn't realise they were really shown in any of the lore?
2. The Nathrezim basically are demons, they're not exactly hard to confuse.
3. The mention of the Zeppelin is probably more of a "WTF is that doing there, you don't travel between the two worlds with it" kind of mention rather than a straight up "Well I wonder what that thing is?"
4. I couldn't tell you off the top of my head how many outland areas there are. I couldn't even tell you how many there are in the EK and Kalimdor. It's actually just not that important, especially as I'm not in Beta and haven't played any of it. If Eliah hasn't either, then maybe cut them some slack.
Smile, life goes on, Burning Crusade or not.

I like the photoshopped 2. I don't give a dump about the stuff that #2 is pissed about.

Depending on how you define the lore, they have shown them. For the Pen and Paper RPGs they put out (and they do count as canon), they gave fairly detailed information on the Titans, and their leaders, the Pantheon (of whom Sargeras used to be a part of). Basically, save for Khaz'goroth the Shaper, they all look like very very large humans. This has given rise to some theories that Humans were crafted to be like the Titans.
Khaz'goroth the Shaper, who crafted the Earthen, who in turn became the Dwaves (and the Troggs). In fact the continent of Khaz'Modan was named after him. IIRC, Khaz'Modan translates to the The Mountains of Khaz.
Finally, the artists responsible for many of the core works of Warcraft have a site, and some of the images used for the Pen and Paper RPG are posted there:
