Thanks to everyone who participated in the Day 2 caption contest. You made it tough to pick a winner, but the results are in -- commenter Odgit is going to take home the 60-day game card! We've listed the winner and a close runner-up below, and the honorable mentions after the break -- and a general hats off to everyone for all the great Matrix, Hitchhiker's, and Star Wars references and general pop culture pot pourri.

That's just horrible. People put in a little thought to come up with something truly creative, and you give it to the most obvious comment ever. There's no wit or original humor in the winning entry, none at all.

I am so tired of the phrase "nerf warlocks" that I think that warlocks should be given even more abilities and powers. That caption is not cute, clever or original.

Meh, I think Caption is supposed to be a witty collection of a few words, not rambling lines upon lines of a story. Even then Nerf Warlocks is the stupidest, unfunniest caption ever.

because of the decision in picking the winner, it seems that more and more people are not going to participate in these games either because:
a.) picking out answers that are not creative in thought, and people are just going to write silly comments like "Paladins Suck!"
b.) picking out winners that are actually friends or family members and hooking them up with freebies and covering it up and making look like a "contest".

Caption:
1. a title or explanation for a picture or illustration, esp. in a magazine.
It's not supposed to be long now is it? Sure you might not like the joke but i didnt decide to win, i just entered with whatever i wanted. Was no rule against entering was it? So flaming me (@12 and 15) does not make sense. K thx bye
