Rolling restarts for US realms Friday morning

Drysc informs us to expect rolling restarts for all US realms starting at 5:00 AM PST to apply a "minor hotfix." Downtime is expected to be minimal (around 15 minutes), and US players probably won't notice any interruption. But a hotfix? Blizzard's not said what they're fixing, which leaves us to guessing games as to the exact nature of the problem. However, poster Tuhljin seems to be on the right track when he points out that "if they won't tell you what the hotfix is for, at least part of it probably involves fixing an exploit." After all, they wouldn't keep us in the dark just for the fun of it... would they?

There's been a bug with hunters being able to tame pets for their quest - that's probably in there.

5 man lotheb nerf maybe :D I dont think any thing annoys blizzard as much as somebody making a joke of raid content.

I hope they fix fence jumping in arathi and wsg. Oh and the wv exploit

Here's hoping they fix the damn Queues. Waiting 35 minutes every weeknight to get in the game is getting tiresome. I doubt I will renew if they can't fix em soon.

@ 5 : If you're alliance, reroll horde. You can't expect short queues when your faction outweighs the horde like 3:1. If you're horde, I can't even imagine what your problem is, because I only wait 2 minutes max to get into a game.

There's a known issue that I, and a few other folks I know, have been experiencing for the last few days in which the Zandalarian Hero Charm & Talisman of Ascendance are no longer displaying charge changes. ZHC, when activated, holds at 12 or 11 charges, and ToA doesn't show charges at all.
Hopefully that's part of the hotfix.

Problems with EU realms today too, which is pretty bloody typical considering I chose yesterday to start playing again after a six-month hiatus :(

There's been an issue with my Argent Dawn commission as of late. When I die, I still have it equipped but the buff disappears and I can no longer pick up stones unless I unequip/reequip it. Very annoying.

I was impressed by the briefness of the restart. It said expect 15 minutes of downtime. But after I got disconnected, I waited a minute or so, then tried to reconnect, and boom! My realm was already back up. If the future rolling restarts are like this, I'll (continue to) love Blizzard forever.
