WoW Moviewatch: I, for one, welcome our new Highlord Kruul

If you missed it earlier, Highlord Kruul is running wild in the major cities (and killing our most beloved friends). If you haven't seen him yet, he's amazing. Here he is rocking the Eastern Plaguelands (for a minute or so anyway, vid cuts out halfway through).
Zeroen from Daggerspine has posted a nice pictoral guide to Highlord Kruul (it's not what you think), and a few servers have already dropped him. A few players mentioned that he has been heard asking for "shards"-- what does that mean? And finally, since I love all the BC teaser stuff so far, Tseric says perhaps the event isn't over yet... perhaps.

The forum thread you linked doesn't mention shards at all - what are you referring to?

Sorry Matt, I linked to the wrong thing. When I wrote this post, I'd found a forum thread where a player said Kruul yelled something like "Where are the shards?", and they speculated that he meant some sort of crystal, either from Azeroth or Outland. But I've since lost the link. I've changed the post to reflect it. If I have time tonight I'll go find Kruul again myself and see if I can ask him about it. :)

I can't see this video, but I did find several on Google.
One thing I also noticed about them.....
In the alliance videos he is kicking their asses.
In the Orgrimmar video he get killed.

Regarding the shards comments, given the info about Kazzak finding an ancient artifact that allowed him to open the Dark Portal, and Kruul seeking shards of the Dragon Aspects, one can only think something regarding the Demon Soul.

Stuff like this is badass, they need to have more stuff like this going on all the time, not just for these special events. It sounds like when tbc hits that just might happen.
