So, how's it going?

It's been a flurry of swapping discs, upgrading accounts, installing patches, blindly accepting EULAs (does anyone read these things other than Blizzard's lawyers? do they even read them?), and installing some more patches -- and now we're totally fresh and ready to... fall asleep exhausted. We saw the login portal once, we know it can't be long now -- we and 5 million other insomniacs are waiting for that last 0.32MB of patch 2.0.5.6320 to finish downloading. Other than a few minutes of "unable to connect" whilst attempting to upgrade our account we've had no issues thus far. How is everyone out there -- are you in yet? Any problems upgrading? Are you level 70 yet? Let us know how it's going for you in the comments.

Im still waiting for my TBC... Been at the Portal oppening last night - pretty hot in there, the server colapsed for a minute... Fightings between horde and alliance - who can posses the Dark Portal for his own... Very interesting night...some where yelling that they will brb after going to the release of the game at theyr local game shop. Ganking lucky horde who has tbc... and many other things.

He's patching right now. My patch is 219mb, it takes forever with this crappy i-net connection of mine!

I've been trying to install for about 4 hours. So have several people in my guild to no avail. Install errors up the wazoo, even after fresh wow installs.

Easy lineup, easy install (noisy disc 2!), easy patching, easy EULA (x3?!), and NO QUEUE to get on Dethecus, WOOT!

Easy stuff, no problems here. Took about a half hour for everything to load, patch, etc.
Had a few problems on my server, Dark Iron. Things were freezing up. I'm guessing because of the MASS amount of Draeni Shammy's all over the place. Looks like it's going to be a big baby boom in alliance shammy land.

got my copy on the monday.. so when i got home i installed it and after all the pacthing i stared at the countime timer for when i could upgrade my account.. as soon as it had finished counting down, just entered in my details and code and that was that.. no problems, no errors, nothing.. within 5mins of it going live i was running around with a brand new blood elf ^_^
maybe i was lucky as i already had it all installed on my computer before it went live so i was ready to go.. i guess i must of missed the huge rush.. oh well ^_^

Yes, I do read the EULA, and it's frankly horrible.
I don't recommend the experience.

Its lame that attempts to redownload 2.03 even though it's already downloaded.
Quit and execute that patch, then take the necessary 30 minutes to download that last 2.8mb :|

Got my copy just got 6 hours of *cough* *cough* work to go, *cough* think i'm coming down with some virus *cough* that is why we have sick days.

From what I saw early this morning, it seems like there are more Dranei than Blood Elves so far. Alot more shaman running around than new pallies.

Speaking on EULA, read it sometime, but really make sure you read the part about how to not name your characters. Funny stuff.

/sigh I have to work today, and haven't even gotten my copy yet. Started snowing today (doesn't happen that often here), so I can't call in sick as too many other people have.
So now I get to wait until 5pm PST to get my game

Haven't gotten it yet. I get off at 5:30. Assuming I don't have issues with installing and patching I should be running for The Dark Portal before 7PM then logging again at 10 to get ready for work.....unless I get the mysterious illness going around my office.

I had to walk 4 miles in the snow this morning to get TBC, and i feel like a real nerd for walking that far for a game in the snow

trust me, I walked 10 miles in 40 degree weather (no snow), so I know how you feel. kinda ticked gamestop sold my CE preorder though.
