What about good mobs to grind or drops that sell well to vendors or on the AH? Thanks in advance for any advice."Do you have any money-making tips to share with Jacob?

Fun reading about the best items to sell. Each server has it's own economy so I'd suggest just picking two gathering profs at low level and keep selling at AH without skilling up any crafting prof. At endgame level watch carefully some prices and their range. You may find that mining is very popular at your server and metal bars are sold at minimum profit...while herbs are gushing cash. The more you gather data and calculate the more you earn. Don't be lazy to note materials price and then calculate price of final products with some 10% profit. Would that sell? What is the average price for that? Knowing this makes you more clever and rich than the rest of your friends :o)

Grinding is a great way to find awesome drops...I was killing the Sunfury guys in Shadowmoon Valley at lvl 69, and a lvl 350 JC Plans for: Jaggad Talasite dropped, instantly sold it to a JC for 400g. Great way to make money, just grind, and see what drops, perhaps you'll have the same luck I did! Happy Hunting

I started questing in Blade's Edge Mountains when I hit 70 and in 5 days i had completed every quest in Blade's Edge and Netherstorm that I found. I went from 25g to 3000g,there is still that 2200 more gold to go for my epic flying mount though. :(

I would say the MOST BEST way to farm gold in BC is to gather Motes and Primals.
The 2 spots I love are:
1. Wizards Row: Wizards Row is an area in Netherstorm, east of Area 52. The Mana Seekers and Mage Destroyers (i think thats their names) have a very high drop rate for Motes of Mana, collect 10 of these and you can turn them into a Primal Mana. Primal Manas go for about 18-20 gold on the AH. By the time you get a Primal Mana you will have collected a couple gold in greys and most likely a green item.
2. Spawning Glen: This is the redish colored area in South Western Zangamarsh. I like this place becuase the Bog Lords have a decent drop rate for Motes of Life and if you have herbalism, you can loot them twice. They also often drop herbs. Primal Lifes go for about 14-16 gold on the AH.

First of all - farm primals, they make heaps of money, primal mana in Netherstorm is the one i farm, each primal goes for about 20g on the AH.
Second - Dailies. (note of of these require fliying mount apart from pvp) As soon as you can, do Shat'ari Skyguard dalies, theres 2 ones, one to bomb the eggs on the huts in Skettis, the other is an escort quest there. You wouldn't believe how quick these are, and you get 20g from them. Next, Ogrilla dailies as soon as you have completed the quests to get them. another quick load of cash. Then finaly, the pvp one, 12g and 500 honor for winning one battleground.
