Around Azeroth: It's lonely at the top...

...of Ironforge. Valens of the guild We Know on Eitrigg sends in this shot of a beautiful, clear night atop the highest peaks above Ironforge. A lonely spot indeed, with only a marker flag, some assorted supplies, and a few bones to keep you company.

Thats a cool image.
sry to be off topic but i'm desperate. I'm trying to find the name of the sword with the lava in it. I'm in a game design course and i want to learn that effect.
If you have a link to it or just the name please please let me know. Thank you.

How was that shot taken? Quick shot from first-person while flying over? Looks nice.

There are ways to climb that mountain though it's getting harder and harder with every patch.

I have some pictures of myself standing on that top too. Pretty nice view from up there. If you have Slow Fall (and enough Light Feathers to keep it for a while) you can actually float all the way to Menethil Harbor!

I made this video tutorial a little while ago showing how it is possible to reach the peak: http://everythingdigital.org/video/ifpeakclimb.mov [13.4 MB .mov]
The climb takes less than three minutes from the IF graveyard with slowfall and a mount/travel form/other speed boost. I used the slowfall-inducing drinks that were available outside IF at the end of Winter Veil.
If you don't meet those requirements, there is a longer way from Loch Modan and it is an extension of the climb to the IF Airstrip.
