Welcome to patch 2.0.6

While I can't promise that this will be the end of Blizzard's "balancing issues," today's extended maintenance sees the roll-out of patch 2.0.6 -- you remember patch 2.0.6, don't you? It was deployed to the PTRs on Sunday, which doesn't leave much room to forget. The official patch notes (which aren't live yet, but will show up here when they are) seem to match the patch notes from the PTRs on Sunday, so hopefully we won't see any surprises when the servers come back online. For those of you who would like to get a jump on things, the patch is currently available for download -- and it's a small patch, weighing in around 6MB, so fire up your client and get to it!
[Thanks, V3T]

So you're saying they gave it a whole day or two of public testing? I'm sure there won't be any problems...

Don't they simply mean game balancing issues?\
DoT nerf and stuff.

Nerfing Priests again.. Like we need to be less powered.. Priests are the usually one of the least played classes and yet they feel the need to make us less powered .. they say balancing .. i just seeing us smacked with the nerf constantly..

Priests are one of the least played classes?
Right.
I regularly quest with a couple shadow priests in my guild. I haven't heard anything from them that would indicate that they've been gimped. In fact, they seem pretty happy with their damage. Unless you're talking about holy priests.

@4: Maybe it's me just being undergeared (though I personally think that having all of the Hellfire rewards makes me much better than I was prior to BC), but seeing as I'm on the business end of most priests, I don't find them underpowered at all. Typically a SW:P, Fear, MB, and MF is enough to almost kill me. Not to mention the fact that during that time he's healing himself from within a shield that takes well over 1000 damage.
No, I think a nerf is fine. Now, you might say "but warlocks ..." Yeah, my answer is exactly this: they're WARLOCKS. I don't even consider them as one of the classes when the issue of "game balance" comes up. They blew it as soon as skillcoil came out.

/sigh
I just wanted one more week with my mad Arcane shot for leveling. (Yes, I as a hunter, agree it's overpowered, but mighty fun) Why press the release up and endlessly hope that two days of testing was enough to minimize bugs?
Warning: possible nightmare of bugs ahead

Mana shield now works for magic attacks and not just physical damage. For mages, that's huge! Get the word out. A buff for mages!
