Breakfast Topic: What's your archnemesis class?
Everyone has the one class or spec that they dislike irrationally. You call for them to be nerfed on the forums, you stalk them through battlegrounds, and you may even swear under your breath when one of them ends up in your instance group. This is your archnemesis class.
There's an old joke that the traditional enemy of the rogue is every other rogue on the server, and I have to admit that used to be true for me. I hated other rogues more than any other class. Sure, there were really nice and skilled rogues, but they seemed to be in the minority compared to the giant amount of idiots that rolled a rogue to be cheap shot artists (pun intended.) All the ninjas, drama queens, and overall irritating people I met in my first few months of playing WoW were other rogues, and a deep sense of self-loathing festered inside of me. I was halfway tempted to reroll a warlock -- and this was back in the days where NO ONE was a warlock -- when the idiot rogues disappeared! Where did they go?
A couple months later, when untalented, unintelligent, aggro-insensitive DPS warriors began infesting my guilds, I had my answer. To this day, I'm always a little suspicious of DPS warriors, particularly those who utterly refuse to consider tanking an instance and have a wishlist consisting of 90 percent of the one and two-handed weapons in the game. However, the recent warrior nerfs have sent the annoying DPS warriors back into hiding, soon to emerge again as whatever other class allows them to take a lot of loot and smash things.
What class/spec annoys you most in WoW? Does the annoyance extend only to people you fight in PVP, or do you hate those of the same faction as you?

As far as classes go, I hate rogues. Especially the cheap shot rogues. As a clothie (warlock) they take me apart, but I at least have a little respect for the ones who can do it when I'm not stunned the whole time.
Aside from classes, I hate gnomes. They're just unnatural. The creepy little things running around. So, as you can guess, gnome rogues are the bane of my existence. I wish I could hunt down every last one of them and wipe them from the face of Azeroth (and Outland). So yeah, there's my rant.

I play a paladin, and much like the author here, i loathe almost all others of my class. holy paladins especially. they are so stuck up and always insisting that holy is the only way to play a paladin. the other 60% of paladins who don't spec holy always come off as the biggest noobs ever. brings shame to my class.

I'm going to have to go with the Fury spec DPS warrior. WTF guys, put a shield on and throw some points into protection, you dont really do that much damage. I'm a priest and let me tell you, there is nothing I loath more than grouping with a fury spec warrior as main tank. I got an idea, when you see the five Naga's sitting in a group that you're about to rush, how about you take beserker stance off? Do you really need to be taking an extra 10% damage right now when we have a Mage a Lock and a Rogue in the group? Then you complain when I have to rest for mana because I had to spam flash heals on you just so you could stay alive... get with it, Go arms or something, if you wanted to play a dps class you shoulda played a rogue, the repairs are cheaper.
On the flip side however there is a new Spec/Class that I have grown very fond of and love grouping with. Thats the Feral Druid! You guys rock now, its so easy to heal when you have 12k HP and 14k Armor in bear form, not to mention in a pinch you can jump out, throw up tranquility or innervate me and go back to tanking. Now thats balance. Not to mention you dont have the warrior super ego, you guys have all been hounded throughout your careers and now is your chance to shine.

I know where all your DPS warriors went.... they're all hunters now.
Seems everytime I group with a hunter, he seems to have no idea how to play. They always seem to run out of ammo in the middle of an instance. One hunter even ran out of meat for his pet, and took a huge loyalty hit during ST.
But worst of all they never seem to understand the concept of crowd control. They always seem to attack the seduced/sheeped/shackled target and then proceed to claim "I thought star was dps".
Outside of grouping i run into problems with kill stealing. I'm a warlock, dots take a few seconds before they ta a target as mine. Hunters see this as "This target isn't tagged so its ok for me to attack" completely ignoring the fact that my VW is tanking and my dots are already cast.
In battlegrounds, these hunters are just insane. The recent changes have made them BG DPS machines. Hopefully the recent nerfs will correct this.
My guild recently had a bunch of hunterrs just like what I have described. I have only ever met 1 competent hunter, and hes my younger brother.
The worst part is I actually started a hunter, and of all the classes I have played, hunter has been the easiest to level. Expect more noobs here.

As a warrior, I hate having to chase mages... end of :).
utope Jan 24th 2007 9:26AM
@2 - I have a fury specced warrior and I don't agree with you at all. I was recently in ramparts and had all my tanking gear on ready to go. It was impossible to actually tank becasue everyone was pulling aggro and wouldn't allow me to get rage for some sunders. I finally said 'screw it' and started duel wielding in defensive stance and taunted mobs off of anyone pulling aggro. It went about 50% faster that way. When bosses came around I tossed on my tanking gear and went to town. We had a pretty flawless run in there and then in the Blood Furnace right after that.

I'm a old school DPS warrior. I've been playing for a long time so I have good gear(before BC) I have never had a problem with rogues, but I hate mages with all my armor they take me down with like two shots. It Kills me. I have to follow/track them in BGs and get the jump that seams to be my only chance. even with all the nerfs to Warriors it is still my fav.

I think Alliance shamans are my arch-nemesis. I certainly know whenever I see one, they'll get a quick lesson in how2frostshock.
Adinlm Jan 24th 2007 9:50AM
I loathe rogues. But that's only because I am a priest and know how much it sucks to be stunned out of existance.
but as far as group with people, I really don't like being grouped with hunters. Guildwise is okay, but whe you get a pug, you swear everytime that they are a chinese farmer or a bot.
@3, totally agree with kill stealing. Hunters are notorious for this. Being my class, I have a very hard time getting burst damage on things. So I'm stuck with having to wait for a hunter (and mages also) to get done with their quest before I can do mine. (Not good when you have those "Please kill 30 of these" quests)
Karla Jan 24th 2007 8:22PM
Hunters. I play casters the most (my most played toons are mage, priest and warlock, in that order) and I'll be out killing things in my nice, orderly fashion and out of the corner of my eye I'll see either the red hunter's mark, or a hunter's pet go running off, and I know that in a minute or two I'm going to have to go find somewhere else to hunt because the hunter will have the area decimated before I can kill my first mob. Also because I'll be standing there, casting my big (6 second cast) nuke, and 3 seconds into it see the hunter's mark go up on the mob I have targetted. So I'll have wasted my big nuke on someone else's mob and don't even get the kill.

the 1,000,000,000 undead rogues out there, roll more of an imaginative char you puff's.
Taytayflan Jul 26th 2008 3:09AM
I made a mistake, my friend who got me into WoW told me to be Undead.
Forgive me, please.
Rich Jan 24th 2007 9:46AM
As a Arms warrior I hate anyone that doesnt know how to play their class or just bombs what ever mob im about to tank and bitches that Im not holding aggro.... err... hate them....
But the Class I hate most are those damn Ferel Druids... that have become so overpowered they are now the best tanking class in the game and need to be nerfed big time... actually its not just ferel its all druids in general.... I HATE THEM ALL!!
Matt Jan 24th 2007 2:35PM
Shadow priests are my number one most hated PvE character. I can't think of a more useless spec for anything past level 55.
PvP, it's warlocks FTL. I'm so tired of seeing at least 5 felguards in every BG.
(Mage BTW.)
Rich Jan 24th 2007 9:53AM
And pallys... forgot them... another class i cant stand
Mekias Jan 24th 2007 9:54AM
As a Shaman, I always felt like my natural nemesis is the Paladin since we (used to) fill the same sort of role for each side. But let's face it, Paladins are easy to hate.
Secretly I'm just really jealous because Paladins can buff everyone in the raid in a matter of seconds and can heal better than I can. I can only give buffs to the people in my party and actually have to waste like 5 or 6 seconds every minute to lay down and manage totems.
Wartoad Jan 24th 2007 9:54AM
As a rogue, I hate huntards. If I don't get the opening shot, I am screwed, blued, and tatooed.
Moosli Jan 24th 2007 9:59AM
@ No 10
Im a Feral Drood - mwahahahahah!!!! :P
Dont hate the playa hate the game :P
Pruflas Jan 24th 2007 10:02AM
@2 you've hit it straight on the mark for me also, can't stand "fury" warriors, but love feral druids!
As a Mage (Mage is my main) NOTHING i hate more is a tank that doesn't know how to stack sunders, or taunt.
I will stand an entire boss fight waiting for a sunder, and when the warriors yells at me for not fighting, I calmly reply.
"You put 3 sunders on him, and I won't have to teach you to tank that thing."
