I lead raids (and the guild) mainly on my priest. This is for two reasons:
1 - it is a necessary class and the way i have the guild structured, we can wind up with some lopsided raid compositions some nights.
2 - Mind Vision. The ability to scout the zone without relying on anyone's feedback time is unparalleled. I can mark targets, plan pulls and pick paths (especially through molten core or zul'gurub) without any pause for decision making (most of the time while the raid is handling other trash).
But as people have stated before - it is the person, not the class. There is no 'best class' - there is only the 'best class for you.'
