As if Locks didn't get nerfed enough in 2.0.3. Screw the PVP people - that nerf cost us DEARLY in PvE. I used to be able to tag a mob with my VW and DoTs, and combining VW, DoTs, and wand, I could take out a similarly leveled enemy by about the time the DoTs wore off. This is important for a lock, because Drain Soul only works near death to create shards, and if nothing else is finishing off the enemy it fails.Ever since the patch, those same DoT's only take the mob down to about 1/3 of health left. At this point I have a two options - neither good:1) Continue with my wand, which takes forever since there are no DoTs backing it up2) Apply a second round of DoTs, which eats up my mana poolThis makes Locks horribly inefficient at PvE. If I choose route 1, I get pounded on. If I choose route 2, there better not be too many adds nearby, or the mana exhaustion (YES, even with Life Tap and such) will kill me but quick. Hellfire Peninsula was NOT fun when the spawn rate was through the roof, let me tell you.To any of these "nerf locks!!1!1one!" losers - GFY.
