High-level instances bugged
The Raids and Dungeons forumgoers are up in arms about major bugs in Tempest Keep's Mechanar and the Caverns of Time Black Morass event.
The Black Morass, also known as Opening the Dark Portal, features portals of angry dragons coming to stop Medivh from opening the Dark Portal. You have to kill these mobs to preserve the timeline. However, it looks like the spawns of the portals are either really random or really bugged. Sometimes multiple portals spawn at the same time, and sometimes you wait ten minutes and nothing spawns at all. Poptrix of Bloodhoof suggests that setting loot to free-for-all and looting everything off the corpses evens out the spawn times a bit.
Tempest Keep's Mechanar features an elevator that appears to have some issues being visible. Some people can see it and others can't. This bug killed a run of Mechanar for my guild a couple nights ago. Hortus on the Bug Report Forum says that Blizzard is working on it, but many people trying to get attuned for Karazhan are pretty upset that they can't progress in Mechanar. Kink of the infamous "PALS FOR LIFE" suggests a fix:
- Leave a group of trash at the very back corner up.
- Kill the boss, rez, and loot.
- Have a rezzer who can see the elevator go up the elevator and stand at the top.
- Pull the last trash group, using crowd control methods to make sure they don't leash, and die to them in line of sight of the rezzer.
- Have the rezzer rez your group. Voila, you are now at the top of the elevator!
Durnk of Ropetown also suggests the Overrated fix, where you replace the elevator with some spiral stairs.
There have also been some reportedly bugged invincible trash mobs in the Botanica, but they're easily avoided. Have you run into any bugged instances lately?

In the Blood Furnace on the Broggok boss, I've had one of the waves of fel orcs bug on me so that no one could click on them to attack. This happened twice in a group and the only way to fix it is to wipe.

Epoch Hunter (In COT 1) has become unkillable - not sure if this due to the event being failed multiple times or what.

You beat me too it, ran it on wednesday, had the same thing happen in furnace. it's happened to our guild enough that everyone said "damnit, not again"

Yeah, we've died to the invisible trash mobs, and last night found ourselves stopped by the elevator that only the warrior could see. Opened a ticket as soon as we ran into the problem, waited, ran the instance again, waited, gave up, did a bunch of group quests outside... and THEN a GM got back to us hours later.
Their fix for the problem? "You should try to get a warlock that could see it up there." Thanks, three of the five of us were warlocks, and none of us could see it. "Oh my. Next time it happens, open a ticket to get moved up there." We did, hours ago, the moment it first happened. *sigh*

Not bugged instances but bugged random monsters, Where you kill them and they go away and for some reason they are still attacking you..

We had the same problem in blood furnace. Our priest Mind Controled the last orc so we would have a chance to regen mana before the boss. Then my dot killed the mob. The last group of orcs respawned and were un-targetable. We wiped, and had to corpse run back since our priest had already used the soulstone.
We got back to the room, and started to regen health and mana, when the encounter began on its own. This time, the boss came after we killed the 3rd wave of orcs, and after we killed the boss, the 4th wave was released. We were fortunate that we at least finished that encounter and were able to move on to the end of the instance, but that was really bugged. Glad to know it has happened to other people too.

Oh, and bigged mobs, its been fixed, but the fel cannons above thrallmar that were spawning underground which preventing me from attacking them. That was annoying. Also I had a few mobs respawn before I killed them. Thats right, I pulled a mob and before it died a new one respawned in the exact spot it was standing in before.

Zuuler you'll be happy to know that Fel Cannons all over Outlands perform the same.
I learned to keep an eye out for those random purple Combat Texts' that say my health is dropping by 400 for no reason.
Then of course 3 minutes later, the cannon shot bolts all hit in a row, freaking me out.

You don't need to clear Mechanar for your Karazhan key. You just need to clear some trash past the first boss on Arcatraz.

In The Mechanar, after the second boss a few waves of mobs will come, after killing them you can eat/drink/etc. After walking around the corner another wave of mobs come and then the last boss. If you wipe on the last boss while one person is mc'd you keep the boss in combat and cannot move pass the elevator due to a barrier being put up. Last nite my group all petioned gm's on Archimonde. 3 gm's turned us down,, but mine summoned us to the boss. So if this happens have everyone put in tickets and hope you get lucky.

Surprised noone mentioned this; the Mechanar bug where if you are on the bridge towards the last boss, and someone dies and releases, you can't get back in, the door at the top of the bugged elevator is bugged and your whole party is f*cked.

The thrall escort in old hillsbrad is really bugged. We havent been able to finish it yet....he either bugs in the barn or the inn and refuses to move. Nothing helps fix it and we always end up just porting out. It's pretty frustrating!
However, Old Hillsbrad is such a cool instance. I'm really impressed by it, although i would be even more impressed if it were to actually work!

Howabout the maiden of virtue not spawning in Karazhan. Mt group was pumped to take out an easy boss, and she and her trash dont even spawn, gg blizz. at least the opera house is fun

Run a bugged COT1 last night. After we took out the last group of trash at the top of the Inn, Taretha was simply GONE. Thrall was standing in the room upstairs where he should be, but talking to him yielded the same response as when you talk to him prior to him investigating the Tarren Mill stables. He wouldn't do anything for us, and with Taretha missing we couldn't start the Epoch Hunter.
Annoying as Hell. Hopefully all these glitches get ironed out.
Oh, and there have been several cases where, when fighting a boss (Notably the Black Hunter in UB), everyone drops out of combat for a couple of seconds and it heals back up to full health. More annoyingness.

For myself let me list the bugs I've delt with so far;
1. Cannon's shooting me miles away
2. Evades mobs (too many to count)
3. 3-4 Broken quests
4. clickable quest items cannot be clicked (2 quests that I can remember, had to relog)

The escort at the and of Mana Tombs bugged out a few night ago and we could not complete it. Even took a SS of the guy you kill at the ends corpse. GM basicly said sucks to be you.
I've also heard somepeople having troubles with the Overlord group quest in Hellfire near the pools.

@12 Yes. And in order to get into Arcataz, we either need to find a 70 rogue (haven't had much luck with that earlier this week the times we've looked) or finish Mechanar, which is the part that's bugged. So no Karazhan keys for us yet.
