WoW Moviewatch: The RawrBomb

Xxorn of Durotan demonstrates the druid's fearsome RawrBomb technique. The technique, originally developed by Siiren of Warsong, involves a druid positioning himself above his enemy in flight form, shifting out of flight and into bear, and feral charging a target right before hitting the ground.
As you can see, the RawrBomb is hard to perfect, and Xxorn only got one successful one off compared to a lot of hitting the ground and dying. Still, it would be pretty nice to see an army of druids own Thrallmar or Telaar someday. There's nothing scarier than the revenge of the druids. "Remember when you told us all we had to spec resto or get /gkicked? Eat flying bear death from my Night Elf friends!"

Warriors can do it too. In AB I like to drop off cliffs and Charge the Horde when they're riding by. What I'd like to do sometime is drop off the mountains in IF on top of a mob. :) That'd be..."The Bomb".

Nice strategy though, interesting how that applied to PvP as well.

hehe, to the poster above who mentioned the Mage PoM+Sheep+ Slowfall
Blizzard doesn't let it happen. You cannot Poly or disorientate a Flying mount.
However there is another useful Mage trick (I'd fraps it but I'm using a Mac):
Step 1: Mount up and find a target.
Step 2: Dismount and Slowfall in the direction the target is moving.
Step 3: Burn ALL your single target instant casts. e.g; Fire Blast (If you are PoM Pyro specced, that to) Icelance a couple of times,
Step 4: De-activate Slowfall by right-clicking on it.
Step 5: And Blink just before you hit the ground, this not only saves you from fall damage but also can put you behind the target if you time it right.
Step 6: Frost Nova and IceLance own the bitch, lol.
Have fun my fellow Mages, you can get off 2 -3k damage before you hit the ground. Just remember to CS that heal if they can heal.

@4, I don't think we can cast even if we use slowfall. However, a well timed PoM could take care of the cast time problem.

Many classes can do that, the Warrior can charge to avoid fallen damage. The Mage can Blink before hitting the ground du avoid damage from falling.
The Priest can levitate (won't do mutch sense though)..
The Rogue can jump from great heights and still get no damage, train that a bit so you can jump off let's say 40 meters without getting unstealthed right on your target ;)

No other class can do the rawrbomb.
The rawr bomb is changing into a bear from flight form, and then charging. It has nothing to do with avoiding damage,

stupid. 5 minutes long, waiting for what i thought would be cool:
if he changed to bear, and charged downwards during the fall it would be cool.
this guy just hits the ground, loses half of his life, *then* charges.

The best thing about Rawr-bombing is that it's a two-ton bear doing it. It is a priceless moment in histroy, whether one is owned by the bear or just gets to watch it splat. Warriors, however they may be able to dismount and charge someone, can NOT rawr-bomb.
