Don't sign up for a role in a group you don't want to do, and don't assume someone will do the role you want.
I've found a Druid tank that's just awesome (And her Shadow Priest friend that heals). Awesome.
I've also ran into Druids that said they could heal, then promptly shifted into bear form and started tanking. Or the Paladin tank in all cloth/leather +DMG/Heal. If you're one of those classes that can do multiple things, then say what you wanna do. And before asking one to your group, make sure they're ready to do what you need. Nothing like a group of a druid, paladin, warrior, priest and mage (me) where you have 5 DPS.
