Reader WoWspace of the Week: February 7 - 13
Now here's a desk more of you may understand and appreciate.

Here's a break down of my desk... slightly more cluttered than yours. Good article – I like seeing where all the gaming happens! Hope it gets posted, somewheres ;)
So let's run down what we see in the image:
- BioFreeze for Carpal Tunnel - this is new to me? Where do I get it?
- Beer for Molten Core - as long as you're having a pantsless raid, may as well add beer!
- Widescreen Gaming Screen - widescreen non-gaming screens not allowed
- JoyStick with Force Feedback - I'd agree with the flying mounts comment if I had one *cry*
- Dust Removal Clothes - I'm pretty sure this should be cloths, but maybe the room gets REALLY dusty
- PSP for enduring login queues - YAY!! Another PSP-user for long flights and logins
- Smell Reduction Stick - From the WoWspace to the dance club!
- Thottbot/Work Screen - I like that Thottbot comes first
- Elder Scrolls Oblivion - I never played it, but I heard it's like an MMORPG without the M, the M, or the O
- Vent Headset and Mic - essential. Anyone else having a rough time finding the perfect headset?
- BIG DESK - walk softly?
- Scotch Glass for BWL - I like that MC needs beer, but BWL requires hard liquor
- Chapstick and Halls - umm.. you get chapped lips and a sore throat from too much WoW?
- A Nostromo *AND* a G15 - okay, I have these too, but didn't think to hook them BOTH up!
- Logitech Mouse - nice weapon of choice, sir
- Custom Rig: 2x for everything! That sucker must go! Does the dual video card make a difference?
So there you have it! Another awesome WoWspace, fully labeled for your appreciation. Tell us what you think, and remember to send in your WoWspaces to readerwowspace@gmail.com.

The tags make this the best WoWspace article evar! Nice. I'm tempted to make one now.
Myles Feb 15th 2007 8:53AM
Now I want to kill myself...I play WoW on this lame Dell laptop.
Ouch.
Dixonij Feb 14th 2007 6:50PM
My god... a Nostromo AND a G15? Macro overload!
Oh also lovin' the pre-expansion log in screen.
k Feb 14th 2007 7:31PM
You can get Biofreeze from Amazon.
Matt Feb 15th 2007 7:55AM
Holy crap! That's the same desk I have!
Sylythn Feb 15th 2007 8:24AM
Imagine that - I have that exact same desk - and I love it! :)

LMAO... our Paladins were always sloshed on beer in MC and the rogues all seemed to hit the liqor for Vael & co... good to see we weren't the only ones that had simulataneous alcohol / raid progressions...
daniel Feb 15th 2007 5:08AM
how does it work with mouse/keyboard when running WoW in fullscreen on one monitor and windows on another?
Woodstock Feb 15th 2007 6:26AM
I love it. Rather similar to mine, but I don't have dual monitors. I particularly enjoy the presence of the AMD dual core CPU... and the Intel mouse pad.
Wamphyri Feb 15th 2007 6:42AM
What's the Nostromo like for WoW? I've been toying with the idea of treating myself to one of these, but I haven't heard any user reviews of them yet.
I'm also interested in the dual monitor setup - do tell us more about how you use these with the mouse and keyboard!
Hellbena Feb 15th 2007 7:11AM
"Chapstick and Halls - umm.. you get chapped lips and a sore throat from too much WoW?"
It's less from playing WoW and more from talking on Vent. He could be a raid leader or at least talkative.

I thought I was the only one who drank to get through 40 man raids... I was a healer, be nervous, be afraid!

You can get a much cheaper alternative to biofreeze that works just as well at your local pharmacist. It says on the label 'compare to the ingredients of biofreeze' on it.
J-bob Feb 15th 2007 9:19AM
The Nostromo 52 rocks hard core. I can't even play WOW without it now.
Mine is set up with the most common combat skills on the D-pad, move/strafe keys in the center of the key pad, other frequent abilities also on the key pad.

Hey guys, having a dual monitor setup like this works great, however you need to set your wow to run in windowed mode in "full screen" that way instead of alt-tabbing out you simply drag your mouse over to your 2nd monitor and surf thottbot, alakazam or wowhead. I also keep my ventrilo and xfire up on that second monitor. I also use my second monitor for TV using a TV box made by viewsonic. In fact i may have to post my setup it's quite nice i think.

Great system - this is what i play wow on -----
AMD Athlon 64 FX 2.8GHz Duel Core
4gb Ram
GeForce 8800GTX 768MB
4 250gb Sata hdds on a raid 0
Duel ViewSonic 19" Widescreen

I just so happen to be a WoW addict AND work at a place that sells a lot of Biofreeze. You can get it in pumps and tubes and rollons and even in a gallon tub with a pump for the hardcore raiders. http://www.bio-medical.com/results_MANU.cfm?inventory__ibrand=phi

Agree on the Nostromo. It took me about 3 weeks to get used to it and find a layout that I like, but now it's indespensible. I put my modifier keys on the D-pad (plus jump), which gives me 20 buttons to push (1-10, plus Shift+). I have no reason to have to have access to any more than that during combat. I haven't even gotten into any macroing yet... it's also cheaper than the Logitech keyboard.

What size is that widescreen monitor ? im thinking of doing a dual monitor setup with a 19" normal and either a 19 or 20 inch widescreen.
