Forum post of the day: The Department of WoW Redundancy Department

We've already talked about how monsters never seem to have their livers, blood, or heads when you most need them to, but Greenhorn of Llane has noticed that WoW allows you to do many redundant or nonsensical things. Among the examples:
- Enraged Crushers can become enraged.
- You can drain the soul of a Soulless Ghoul.
- Fade fades from you.
- You can wield the Big-Boar Battle Rifle of the Boar.
- Apparently, a number of characters named "You" have caused some very, very confusing loot rolls.
- The old warrior error message, "Target too close. You are too far away."
- Gibbering ghouls can be silenced.
- Trees of life can be rooted.
Have you encountered any interesting redundancies in WoW?

It's funny, I just bought the expansion over the weekend and I was fighting "Enraged Ravagers" on my Draenei shammy. I would chuckle everytime one of them became "enraged."

I always liked the fact about when you first play a Blood Elf, it says on the opening movie that "You are one of the last of the Blood Elves" or something to that effect and yet the Newbie Zone is overrun with hundreds of Blood Elves...Apparently, there was a big baby boom in Quel'thlas

This is pretty vague, but I remember some hunter saying on the general channel once (forgot exactly where) that they turned in a quest, and the quest giver said something to the effect of, "You've proven yourself a worthy bounty hunter, hunter."
