Whither Zul'Gurub?
We used to run Zul'Gurub weekly, if not more often. The loot was OK (a couple of GREAT tanking swords drop there, and not a lot else), the reputation rewards were fantastic, as were the enchants. Since Burning Crusade, we haven't even gone to Stranglethorn Vale. Is it less fun? I'm not sure. With the boss scaling issue, and trying to get everyone up to level, we just haven't taken the time to check it out. Since the shoulder enchants and head slot enchant are still very good, I may try to get a group to go back on a bijou and coin farming mission. We might just go back to see if we can run the place with 5 people for kicks. That said, if I never set foot into Molten Core again, I'll be happy. I'd like to finish Blackwing Lair and poke into Naxxramas since I never managed to get there, but the new 5-man instances and new raids are keeping me adequately busy for now.
Any plans to go back in time now with new and improved gear and abilities?

Have gone back to the level 60 dungeons to solo for cash and the challenge.
Doubt I will ever see or goto BWL NAXX MC or ZG again though constructivly. Even if I convince myself to go, I'd have to convince 10+ others to join me and at least 30 for NAXX.

My guild split up in November, just as we were hitting Chromaggus. I would love to go back and down Nefarian and see Naxxramas. Naxx was the one instance I wanted to see more than any other.

Farming ZG beer for kicks with a few other druid friends. I would love to make it to Naxx but I'm not sure if enough people would be up for it in my guild.

I have every intention in the world to go and do ZG with my mage alt. Two words: polymorph turtle.

I never was able to get involved with any raids, but I tried to do instances a lot. I can see low lvl instances being run as much as they were before. But the high lvl instances like scholo, strat, DM, BRS, BRD, and whatever other ones I am missing I can see being run very limitedly. Pallies and Locks will be the biggest group of players who run some of these instances still because of their class specific mounts. Farmers and people looking for challenges will fill out the rest. I don't really plan on running these instances (other than scholo and DM to get my warlock mount) unless I am bored or want something (like the worg pet quest in BRS).

I plan on running the 60's instances, since i hit 60 a week before the expansion, and nobody wanted to run them at that time, so i've never been there, but i'd like to at least see them.

My guild has 0 interest in doing the old-content. I still want to see it all, at least once. My solution was to post to the realm forums, and found a guild that was semi-Puging it. I'm going to try to join them this weekend when they hit BWL and we'll see from there.

My guild was halfway through MC and had downed Ony before the expansion. First weekend of BC, no one raided...second weekend, we one-shotted the last four bosses of MC. We plan to see all the old content, and right now we need to get a few idiots to run UBRS because for some reason they're not BWL attuned (unless you're a Draenei/recent 60, how can you not be BWL attuned?!). I definitely want to see Naxx, and we do plan to do it one day.

My guild is actually planning to start at Zul'Gurub and go straight through to the level 70 raids. We have some new players and some players who never got to raid, so we intend to show everyone everything. As a BWL-experienced guild, we're expecting to smash through all the old content quickly and give our new guildmates something to be happy about in the process.

My guild never made it to anything but 1/2 of ZG before TBC came out. Right now there's no plans to go back there - but we're hitting MC for the first time this week, and attuning for Ony and BWL.

I honestly do NOT miss ZG & MC but I'd love to go back and try and kill Nef with an elite raid of 10-15 people and then finish up Naxx.

Did ZG the other night with 8 of us for a Bloodlord kill. (ie the head enchant). It was actually a good time, always fun to be strategic for months...then gain 10 levels and somewhat rip through stuff.
We are MC'd out...but will probably hit BWL just to finish it as a guild, and definitely more AQ40 and Naxx - just so everyone that never saw it can do so.
But yes, the 5-mans will keep us busy for quite a while. We are a smaller guild and are loving the fact we don't have to feel 'left out' of anything.

I think that is a fantastic idea. I have a friend that is starting back up with me in a couple weeks. While I got to see everything up to C'thun, he missed all the content post MC -- something which I hope I can fix for him.
While BWL could be doable with maybe 20 (with Vael being the big problem as he blows up Mana users every 15seconds), and AQ40 being similar (Satura needing a fair amount to tank down her adds). Naxx from my understanding couldn't be done with less than 30-40 (someone who's done it correct me if I'm wrong), because of fights like 4HM...

Hrrrm... AQ40 with 20 could be difficult because of HuHu...

@Dave
true but it's fun to go into ZG with a party of 5. I bring with me a newly 60 Hunter and help them get their snake pets. It's really not that bad of an instance esp with all the new 70 toons. Easy and good loot. Not to mention the occasional epic mount. The Raptor one dropped for my guild the other night and was passed/given to the raid leader as a gift from the guild.

Soloed LBRS for grins. Was pretty easy, as you would expect.
Feeling pretty darn uber at that point, I grabbed a Prot Warrior friend of mine and went off to MC. I figured we would see if we could take out the 2 Molten Giants at the entrance. They are what, like 62 Elites? Heck, I can solo Elites a lot higher than that, and so could my friend. Should be pretty easy right?
Okay, Molten Giants are lableled as 62 elites, but I asure you they are nothing like the 62 elites inside places like Ramparts. Nothing at all like them. First run in, we both DPSd. It took about 3 or 4 seconds to realize we were screwed. We ended up running for our lives like little girls. Second one, I put on heal gear. We lasted longer. With over 10k mana drained on healing pretty fast, I *think* the giant's health bar started to move, a little bit...
It was great fun, and quite the eye opener. Molten Giants were more like Fel Reavers than 62 elite mobs that run around Outland.

Funny this,
Me and 3 others for a laugh 4maned UBRS Friday night.
1 Arms Warrior
1 Rouge
1 MM Hunter
1 Priest
And it was a really good laugh
