WoW Moviewatch: So easy a draenei can do it
This spoof of the popular GEICO cavemen commercials is simple in concept and execution, but nicely done. I'm not sure I would have picked draenei as the race to go with, considering their technological advancement... Orcs or trolls, maybe, but draenei?

The person who made that video should bear in mind that Draenei can also build interdimensional travelling vessels the size of castles and make crystals more technologically advanced than anything on Azeroth before their arrival, while his precious Blood Elves still haven't come out of the castle ages.
So if I were him I'd stfu.

I really hope you were kidding Vogen, it's all in good fun.

Eh, I don't care if it's inaccurate, it's still funny.

"The person who made that video should bear in mind that Draenei can also build interdimensional travelling vessels the size of castles"
Yeah? How did that work out for them?
Oooh, right.
That is a great video.

Elves broke my spaceship.
For being so smart and all, they sure do let the universe push them around a lot. First asked to become demons and then hunted to near extinction because they refused. Then hunted to near extinction by a bunch of green skinned orcs with stone axes. Then their ship drops out of the sky because some elves sabotaged it...
And now people just plain make fun of them. Glad I am not a Dranei, might have to put myself out of my own misery.

Actually all of tempest keep was built by the Naaru, as well as the ship that the they took to Azeroth, where they so wonderfully managed to crash it. The "Crystal entities" living in Sha'tar and aiding the Horde/Alliance in the fight against the scourge traveled to Draenor in these ships. Illidan has since taken them for his own use, harnessing their energies to create demon/mechanical constructs (Mechanar) as well as the use/control of nature (Botanica).

meh... the original geico commercial was funnier. i didnt even chuckle at this spoof. I agree a troll would have been hilarious. if they had used a troll in noob gear i might have had a good laugh.

Its not a space ship! think of it as a self contained dark portal

Hey guys, I'm actually the creator of this movie. I just noticed a bunch of people came to view my movie from here, so i thought I'd come to see what's up~
Let me just say that the decision to put Draenei in had absolutely nothing to do with lore, and positively everything to do with me not liking the Draenei. I play as a Blood Elf pally on Coilfang server and I happened to get ganked by some Draenei... no big deal. Some people like to talk crap on the forums when they get pvp'd on a pvp server, I just happen to make movies directed at an entire race. It entertains me.
And before anyone says anything more about "interdimensional travelling vessels" and "advanced crystals", just step back a moment and realize... it takes place in an airport. And an airport NOT built by gnomes, I might add. It's all just for fun. I honestly wasn't trying to debate lore.

Personally, I love it. I can't stand those squidheads. The only one I've ever helped was my boyfriend's mage...other than that, when I see a Draenei in Raven Hill getting ganked by Mor'Ladim or something to that effect, my 64 paladin just points and laughs. Is it cruel? Maybe, but I've got my morals: I don't party with calamari.
