The return of the return of the Luffa
It seems like just yesterday we were talking about the Searing Gorge quest reward the Luffa and how useful it could be for an encounter in Karazhan. I, of course, was off silently cursing the fact that I'd vendored mine ages ago, being unable to think of a single use for it that was more important than the free inventory slot. However, it looks like I didn't need to be so sad about that -- because apparently the Luffa has been changed in 2.0.10 to not work on bleed effects cast by monsters over level 60. all the "above level 60" shit is really going on my nerves. That stuff already made the whole engineering profession nothing but a lame joke.

Blizzard continues to devalue the old, WoW 1.0 world with moves like this. It's more and more evident that TBC is more of a new game vs. an expansion onto the old.

Blizz should implement some sort of "effectiveness" rating that depletes as you level up, like Crit and Resilience and all that. So that at least you know how long you'll be able to use an item.
In fact, it could even just be like this: fully effective against anything within 10 levels of the item's level. If something is 11 levels above the item's level, it has a 10% chance to fail. 12, 20%. 13, 30%. And beyond that, you probably wouldn't want to even bother.
Though it does really suck that all those cool gizmos that you can make in Engineering are worthless in BC.

Hell, if you think that's bad, consider that all the new, high-level Engineering recipes are equally worthless (with the exception of the new scopes and, to an extent, the new leather goggles).

What a crappy nerf. Now you have Divine Shield, Blessing of Protection, and Ice Block as the only was to remove that 1k a tick 5 min. duration bleed in Khara. Luffy made that fight alot easier.

Im beggining to think seriously on changing to another MMORPG, do you recommend another? Cause constantly changing classes, items, professions, ... makes me feel sick, i dont enjoy leveling a toon to found that is a crap on high level. Or farming items to a spec that they change to crap.
