The Warcraft Armory

What's the Armory, you wonder? Well, it's a new part of the official Blizzard site (currently in beta testing) that offers access to character profiles (for characters above level 10), guild profiles, arena team profiles, and arena ladders via the web. The nice thing about Blizzard doing this is that it's all integrated -- no extra software to install, no profiles to keep up to date -- Blizzard already has all of the information and has just given us a new way to access it. The only problem: the Armory website doesn't seem to be online right now. No doubt the cause of millions of players simultaneously trying to hit the site and see how it works.
Update: European players have their own version of the Armory, and it seems to actually function right now.
[Thanks, greatslack]

lol, what does it matter if someone can see your talents? You really think you've come up with some super-secret combo?

A lot of people on the WOW forums are QQing about this. Some people went as far as to say that hackers can now choose their target.... even though it doesn't display the account name. I think its great, I'm proud of my 65 rogue main look me up some time

Yeah, I find it amusing how some people are worried about others seeing their talent specs. I'm guessing that someone out there has already used your spec and already posted how good or worthless it is in the forums. So, unless you found out how to make a 20/20/21 spec that actually works, stop worrying.
I love this feature. It's nice to finally get something like this up and running.

Cool. Now when someone pays for a powerlevelling service, they can check their status.
Or you can check your BOTS from work.
Can anyone else think of ways this helps/hurts the farmers?
