A very tasty Orgrimmar

Via Livejournal, here's another WoW cake-- lottie says she made it for her boyfriend's birthday, but the URL on the pic goes to a site where there's all kinds of nerdy cakes to check out.
The cake depicts the gates outside Orgrimmar, of course, and apparently everything there is edible (and sugary): "chocolate and vanilla sponges with mars bar mini rolls, matchmaker chocolates, jaffa cakes and chocolate finger biscuit and chocolate chip logs." This is the second amazing Horde cake we've seen-- where's your delicious cake skills at, Alliance?

Haha, nice.
Horde seal cake still owns!

These cakes are made by girlfriends of WoW players.
Alliance players are too young for girlfriends.
Thats why they don't have any good cakes.
L2Bake.

@3 - LOL
alliance have skills?
the six winger Mar 6th 2007 1:13PM
All right ya hoardies don't make me go busting my 1337 cake making skills on ya.
Seriously though I might have to find an excuse to do that. There hasn't been an alliance cake yet. What to do though? any ideas my brothers and sisters in the alliance? (I like the stormwind enterance but that would feel like copying the above cake.)

Ipersonally play Alliance, but love Horde. I just gotta convert my friends to it :/
For the Horde!
(or Alliance WarCry Version)
For the Nooblets!

@5 - You're not proving your point, if you cant spell "Horde" correctly.
For Alliance, I'm just not inspired really :P Horde cakes are more common cause more hardcore players are on the Horde fraction.

@6:
That's like the pot calling the kettle black, isn't it? You mispelled the word "faction"...
Oh, the neverending battle between Alliance and Horde, gotta love it!!

Only problem with that picture is there are no dead trolls and tauren strewn about and one that has been comlpetely dismembered with it's head on a stick, and no band of dwarves and gnomes setting the horde flag afire and raising an ally flag.
Other than that, its pretty cool.

That's it, I'm breaking out the fondant. I have off for two days, it's time to do some serious baking.
Any suggestions for cakes you'd like to see?
the six winger Mar 6th 2007 3:35PM
no no the comedy of my hoardy comment comes in the use of hoard as to horde.
Seriously this hardcore = horde doesn't make sense. otherwise why would that DnT and Nih. If it were a huge number more horde hardcores then why isnt it DnT vs Nih and 3 other big horde guilds.
Seriously though any ideas for a cake. If not I might have to come up with my own. actually would give me an excuse to try out spinning sugar.
bobpwnsjones Mar 6th 2007 6:29PM
i wanna see an onyxia bustin up sw keep cake.
Kabe Mar 6th 2007 8:54PM
Does the whole thing have to be edible? Because I'm confident of my ability to make SW keep, but I'm only just learning the ins and outs of pastiage flowers, let alone big freakin' dragons. I'm a self taught baker!
Perhaps I could sculpt a dragon out of marzipan or something, though ...
Mike Schramm Mar 6th 2007 11:42PM
If you're taking suggestions, I'd like to see a Murloc themed cake.

Anyone thought about a battleground cake? That would be fairly easy, just map it out and choose your faction for the win. You could put up some towers, a Horde base on fire, Horde members strewn throughout the area with little white flags in their hands...
Sorry guys, gotta get my kicks in. I do honestly think that a BG cake could be done well though.
