Guildwatch: A crowd of raging ninjas
This week's Guildwatch kinda snuck up on you, didn't it? We're like that-- dressed all in black, toting around sharp stars, and popping in when you least expect it. You know, to assassinate the head of an opposing clan or steal an ancient relic held by an evil ruling family. Normal stuff.
And in between our ninja activities, we find the time to churn out a weekly report on drama, downings, and recruiting going on with the guilds throughout Azeroth. The Armory might tell you how many members these guilds have, but you'll only learn the inside story here on GW. As always, send us your tips, early and often, at wowguildwatch@gmail.com. DRAMA
- That sneaky looking guild above is the Raging Daises on Balnazzar-A. They went all ninjastyle on Grom Gol and Orgrimmar. Forget an Aldor/Scryer battleground-- I want to see a Ninja vs. Pirate battle!
- Most guild drama is just confined to the forums, but Consortium on Uther-A isn't playing around: they're declaring all-out war on Enlightened Ones, another Alliance guild on Uther. All battles, they say, are going to take place inside of Gurubashi. Faction on faction action!
- Reader Swift sent this in, and it's only for the drama afficionados out there (anyone who is not fascinated by dumb forum drama will find it, well, dumb): Xidane is a druid on Aszhara who apparently talks the talk but doesn't quite walk the walk. After he claims (on page 4) that he beat Ashak twice in a row, Ashak then delivers video-- of him beating Xidane twice in a row. Tasty forum drama, but not for the faint of heart.
- Drunken Legacy on Daggerspine may disband-- Unprepared splintered off from them because they wanted to go more hardcore.
- Ninja Alert (the bad kind that steals items, not the good kind in the vid above): Orcimonde on Shadowmoon-H. Apparently the rumor is that he's not the first ninja in Stormreavers.
- SG on Bleeding Hollow-H downed High King Maulgar for a server second.
- Lucidity on Thorium Brotherhood-A dropped Moroes and Attumen
- Gothic Bunnies on Thunderhorn-H killed Attumen dead this weekend (I'm a GB member, but I unfortunately wasn't there-- stupid Kara key quest)
- Deadly Impact on Aegwynn celebrated the holiday season and dropped Omen. Awesome!
- Temple of Light is a small guild on Khadgar-A that's looking for a few good 70s to round out their raiding group.
- Aggronomics (winner of this week's Best Guild Name award) on Stormrage wants "to know if you're their knight in shining armor"-- they're picking up 50-60s, especially tanks, to head to Outland.
- Total War is a World PvP guild that started on Haomarush, and they've now expanded to Ursin-H, and could use some active PvPers
- Circlian Crusaders on Aggramar-EU is trying to get 'em early-- they want levels 1-20
- Arte et Marte on Darkspear EU is looking for rogues and shammies to continue their run through the endgame (they recently downed Moroes)

Our guild Dknag Togu on Hakkar(PvP) has recently had a large group of people splinter off and form a new guild called Karma.
They were unhappy in our guild because they were having trouble finding people in the guild to group with. So, they decided that it would be better for them to leave together and start a brand new guild so that they could group with each other there.
I explained that they were making an illogical decision, because if they couldn't group with each other in our guild, they probably were not going to group with each other in a new one either. And on top of that, leaving a guild that has been established on the server for nearly a year for a brand new "start-up" guild that no one on the server is familiar with isn't going to get them a lot of people asking for a /ginvite, IMO.
Anyway... best of luck to them.
Happy Hunting!
