Breakfast topic: what do you dread?

Yesterday we talked about what new game features you might be looking forward to. Today let's consider the flip-side -- changes we might see in the future that you hope will never happen. When you can't be sure what Blizzard might have planned for the game, it's easy to fear for the worse. More class nerfs? Hundred player raid content? More bugged, unbeatable encounters (at least until Blizzard hotfixes them)? Or perhaps something completely different -- what game change do you most dread seeing?

Changes that reduce the balance between casual and hardcore play.

The addition of more escort quests in future expansions. I hate escort quests.

Player housing/cities.
It doesn't work in SWG and it won't work in WoW.

Being so far behind due to deployments that the only people in the zones I need to go to will be full of elitist a**hats who care not to help folks that have been unable to do these things in the first 30days of the x-pac. The second x-pac comming out before redeployment >.

User created content... Keep your SL out of my WoW ;)
Shat Mar 11th 2007 9:10PM
Player housing. I don't want another stupid, STUPID thing to worry about.

Another Druid nerf :(
Vanik Mar 12th 2007 3:09AM
Warlock nerfs! Last thing we need is another nerf. Otherwise I really fear a shift towards the hardcore players. It's hard not to be a casual gamer when you're stuck in iraq without a decent internet connection.

Dual windfury nerf :(

The day that Bliz realizes that Cloak of Shadows is overpowered :(
Larawen Mar 12th 2007 9:50AM
Ill second the Cloak of Shadows nerf, its unavoidable because bliz always caters to the people that wine the most, and MAN do those warlocks wine about CLoS. Its gonna be a sad sad day when locks become invincible to everyone... again.
Todd Mar 12th 2007 10:41AM
Warlocks wine about everything. The Warlocks complained that the Mage summoned Water Elemental was moving in on their summoning space, so the spell was nerfed.
I dread the day when Blizzard continues to ignore the growing overpoweredness of Warlocks and fails to make any cuts. ;)

Believe it or not, locks die too. Maybe the reason you keep dieing to them is because you suck? I don't know. Just a thought.
Personally, while I groaned when I read the description to cloak of shadows, I did't complain about it because rogues usually kill me anyway, so it doesn't matter.
Locks are just harder to play than most classes, so when you find a high lvl lock, they are typically a good player and know their class well, which is the real reason why you keep dieing to locks. There are plenty of bad locks out there, I've killed them. Just do what good locks do. Learn your enemies weakness and play on it.
When i fight pallies, rogues, or warriors, i do what i can to keep my distance from them. If they can't get to melee range then I have the advantage. Hunters fear/distract their pet with your pet, get in close so they can't use their ranged weapons. Mages and priests, drain life/siphon life until they are out of mana.
Want to know how to kill a lock? Ignore the pet, keep a health potion in your back pocket, and just do as much damage as you can. If you're melee, don't let the lock get range on you. If you're a hunter, don't let him get close. If you're a mage or priest, learn mana conservation. Make the lock use up his mana, then he can of course life tap to get mana, but that benefits you as well since he has less health now. Stuns work well against locks too.
Or if you still suck, get a lock to help you kill the lock.
Truth is, even if they did nerf the lock class, I would still own you. Cause bliz passed down a bunch of undocumented lock nerfs and people are still crying OP.
