I just started a BE mage, and I'm having lots of fun learning all the mage's little abilities and quirks-- Blink amuses me to no end, and Evocation is awesome (especially since my main is a shOOMan). But I've got a whole new respect for Slow Fall after seeing this.
Lookit that little gnome go! I thought it was really amusing that the Horde stuck with him for that long. They must really be desperate for some Barrens kills.

That's why I love my Little gnome mage! We may be short and the butt of everyones joke, but we survie!!One day when I'm a "big" Gnome mage, I wanna be like him!

You know, the only problem I have with that video is that those Hordies... they either were really eager to kill a Gnome Mage that they'd follow him anywhere, they weren't actually thinking, or the whole thing was staged to get that result. I personally don't see why any one would continue to chase after anyone for that long a path.
That, or the Gnome Mage had been annoying them for a while.

Too much chasing, it has to have a really good explanation. And the hordies have to be either very stupid or very distracted by fighting to fall from there

I once chased a mage on my tauren for seven solid minutes in AV. Mages can annoy you more than any other class with their blink/mana shield combo. You simply HAVE to kill them, there is no more volition about it.

Too good to be true. It's beyond belief that not a single one out of 10 had common sense enough to realize they were just led to the top of a mountain. Not to mention the fact that they all did just enough damage to him to make it look "real". Nor the fact that they all knew the exact path that he was taking, even when he rounded a corner. Sorry, I run around hills as much as possible, because it's too easy to get stuck and lose your prey.
Valiant effort though. I've seen movies that they spent millions on that had worse "acting"

LMAO First of all the barrens is mostly all lvl 15-20 players..what lvl was the gnome? secondly no Horde player in their right mind would have worried about chasing him that far or up the barrens hills...1 word...STAGED...most players are not that dumb...
