The hidden secrets of Outland

Inspired by this forum thread about hidden and mysterious places in Outland, I took to the skies on my windrider to check out some less-traveled places in the expansion. From the empty Horde village above Shattrath, to Challe's Home for Little Tykes, all the way to Skettis, the hidden capital of the Arrakoa, I went on a tour of some of Outland's secrets.
Check out the gallery below to see all the places I found. And while I spent a night touring around, Blizzard spent months making this place. If you've found cool stuff that I didn't include in the Gallery, feel free to drop it in the comments below.

The "abandoned horde buildings" at Shattrath look more like some of the Ogre buildings you find in outland. Especially the tower in the foreground of the picture. Its identical to one of the towers you can find along the far western edge of Zangarmarsh.
Though at one point pre-beta I heard that Shattrath was going to have the 2 (initially) neutral areas (which became the Aldor rise and the Scryer rise), but also a horde only and an alliance only area of the city. So this could have been where the horde only portion would have been. Might there be some abandoned alliance looking buildings around Shattrath?

With any luck, that abandoned ogre (not Horde, you self-righteous folk you!) town will be a location for Steamwheedle Cartel when (and if) they bring Auction Houses and trainers to Outland.
It's nice to dream...

"Stonebreaker Pond" is actually called Lake Jorune and it's one of three places in Outland you can fish Furious Crawdad from Highland Mixed Schools. There's also the lake around Skettis and another hidden one called Lake Ere'Noru around Allerian Stronghold that you can fish these. Furious Crawdads make Spicy Crawdad which is a 30sta/20spi buff food and considered essential in raids. Yeah, your effective fishing needs to be quite high. I'm 375 w/ +30 gear and with +100 lures I have get aways all the time. But it can be fished currently.
A really cool thing I didn't notice unitl I had my flying mount were the dragons impaled on those spikes in Blade's Edge. There's a bunch of them near the path that leads down into that ogre valley from the main Horde base. Get some shots of those, they're wicked cool looking.

Ha BaboonNL, someone told me about that, and when I was putting this little tour together, I spent like an hour flying around all the mushrooms in Zangarmarsh, but never found it. What's the loc on that one?

ya, I'd like to see some coords posted for these. I've found lots of them, but not all of them yet!

I don't remember the coords, but I know I was flying away from Sporeggar, and you can see a bridge in the screenshot. So I guess it was somewhere south of Zabra'Jin.
