Arena teams fight for the top spot

This week, Blizzard has highlighted the top US 5v5 arena teams (one from each battlegroup). These teams are currently competing for spots in the first ever arena tournament. Included are Power Trip from Bloodlust/Tichondrius, Fuddruckers from Cataclysm/Auchindoun, Outplayed from Cyclone/Daggerspine, Front Line Assembly from Emberstorm/Tortheldrin, ATM from Frenzy/Area 52, C A P S L O C K C R E W from Nightfall/Kel'Thuzad, Dejthstoneibilyfunecima from Rampage/Cho'gall, Portable Hotdog Steamers from Reckoning/Smolderthorn, Rerolled from Ruin/Azgalor, The Challenge from Shadowburn/Dark Iron, Yea We Lift from Stormstrike/Mal'Ganis, The Fighting Mongooses from Vengeance/Mug'thol, Clan HeX from Vindication/Lightning's Blade, Game blouses from Whirlwind/Cenarius. In the end, the tournament will determine the best PvP team in the world (of Warcraft and otherwise) -- so good luck to all competitors!

Go C A P S L O C K C R E W! As much as I hate seeing them out and about, as I play Alliance on KT, they are exceptionally good at PvP. I wish them the best of luck.

I like how the top team on my battlegroup is a team of 3 palladins
Hurray for overpowered

WTF @ #2??! People like you are exactly what is wrong with WoW. Just because one random team has 3 paladins out of 10 total team members they are overpowered?? What if certain people can only be on certain times? You ever think about that noob? Or why don't you go ahead and roll a paladin if they so overpowered. Maybe they are the top team cause they have more skill?? QQ more noob and stfu.

Khelben, I would suggest trying not to get so upset at people like #2 or you're going to seriously loose it when you guys do get the nerf-bat next patch. My bet is your bubble takes a hit, maybe I'm wrong, we'll see. A lot of the priests I know would like to be paladins, but don't want to have to level up a new toon to 70.

Khelben would from the sound of it be the kind of player I'd in general avoid and likely put on ignore.

why all the hate on Khelben, hes got a good point becos some pallys are doing good in Arena they need to be nerfd now lol what if a group of 5 holy priest were owning it would they have to be nerfd?? at number #2 lvl a toon to higher then lvl 3 then post :)

Honestly... I'm just angry because I'm tired on people constantly complaining when there just happens to be more than specific class on a good team. Heavens forbid! Everyone QQ about their class and honestly get over it and your still playing so obviously it wasn't that bad.

go front line assembly!
I don't know them but I like the band that they're probably named after ;)

HAHA...the team from my battlegroup, Shadowburn, disbanded.
White Rabbit Mar 18th 2007 5:35AM
HAHA wow, Khel... you need to CHILL
Just... haha I don't even know what to say in response...
Its funny how people can get so mad so fast :P

«The Fighting Mongooses», that's a cool team name.

For the final matches there should be a live feed via ingame wow. would anyone else like to be able to go the arena battlemaster be able to view the final matches? kinda like the sweet sixteen of wow? or just beable to go the battle master and be able to watch any match? i think that would be awesome.

I just don't see why an us-only competition is able to determine the best WoW-PvP-team in the world? Maybe there's a better team around in europe or asia?
Elizabeth Harper Mar 19th 2007 12:44PM
The competition is global. Right now we have US teams competing against US teams, EU teams competing against EU teams, and Asian teams are competing against Asian teams. But eventually the top teams from each region will fight one another to determine the best team in the world.
However, we only currently have data on the top teams in the US, which is why they were specifically featured in this post.

Sorry if my last post sounded a bit unfriendly. Have to think more before I write things in a foreign language ;). Though I don't like pvp, a global event where the best teams of every continent are fighting against each other would be pretty cool.
