WoW Moviewatch: Undercity elevator bug

You've heard me talk about the dangers of the Undercity elevators, but this is a variation on the theme that I hadn't seen before. While it looks just as dangerous as falling from the top of the elevators, fortunately the platform will not squish you on the way down if you manage to get yourself stuck there.

I dunno if that's a bug exactly. It's the same with the elevators in Shattrath; if you're standing on the ground under the elevator, the elevator won't hurt you or pick you up when it lands. If you jump while the elevator is down, you land on top of it and everything is normal.

Discovered this bug on the elevator to Aldor tier in Shatty Citty. If you move a step once you punch through it will read you as on the platform and up you go. Exceptionally lazy I know but it's fun nonetheless.

I don't know if you have played horde or not, but the elevators in UC have doors on them that close when the elevator moves. Every once in a while you end up going through the door just as the elevator starts moving. Thats when you get the scenario in the movie, where you are under the elevator platform. Difference between the one in UC and the one in Shat is because of the door, you can't get out of the shaft.
And obviously, this one has been in the game longer.
I have had this happen to me, but I have never had the falling death from the UC elevator everyone seems to have experienced.

Umm... the really surprising thing here is, why did they animated that scene anyway? No one should ever really see the bottom of the elevator. You'd think they would skip this one.
