Hunter Wiki is collecting hunter know-how
Eldariel on the EU forums has posted something cool for Hunters-- he's created a Hunter Wiki. Originally, it was created to just hold the lost stickied threads from when Blizzard cleaned out the forums a while back, but even though the wiki is still small, a little more loving care will set it on its way to becoming a one stop shop for everything you ever wanted to know about being a hunter.Right now there's only a few pages, but already there's lots of theorycraft, guides to hunter loot and quests, and even a round of hunter-oriented comics (well, some of those are better than others, but it's still a work in progress). They don't have nearly as much pet info as Petopia yet, but being a wiki gives them lots of room to improve.
In fact, the wiki format lends itself very well to WoW info, just because this is a social game consisting of a lot of shared knowledge-- WoWWiki has been proving that theory for a while (and they've got lots of hunter info there as well, along with plenty of other necessary information). But it's definitely awesome to see a wiki dedicated to the ins and out of a particular class, and hopefully what Eldariel has built will bring lots more editors and contributors so more hunters can share what they know with at least a little privacy from the prying eyes of others. In fact, where's my Shaman wiki?

There should be a section under "theorycraft" that goes into what Hunters are crying out for in terms of what we all want in the future. We have taken the nerfs which is all good just makes me change up my play style again but all our "PET's" need more loving! When a hunter pet dies we just stop and kill me quick type of thing go out. We accepted this new way of life!!!

if you're talking PVE, i'll agree, but if you're talking PVP, you're absolutely insane. i think this is the big issue with hunter pets. in pve, they are almost worthless (read instances/raiding). but in pvp, they are either good the way they are, or are overpowered. as i play a mage as my main, i feel the pets are overpowered. having a 61 hunter alt, i like it :)

Well they are not overpowered. Reason is they just have tricks up their sleeves like any other class. 2 shot kill YES that’s over powered. Here’s the test do a duel Hunter/Mage and say Warrior as test dummy... Hunter and mage each gets a shot at long range or what ever spells with their buffs on... You will see there’s a huge difference in that’s taking who down. OK as far as pets go yes they gona interfere with casting time what mob doest right? I have a Shammy/mage and main hunter. My GF has a Lock and priest all 70's. There’s talents for helping u cast with out be interrupted ya know right. The key things we have to run away to keep our distance is a trap that’s all or we dead.
Here’s another thing I just like to stay on the pet issue for now. But you have a Locks pet attack the same mob with its buffs and fraps it, same with hunters pet. You will see the difference in damage and duration in life. I am not asking for a HUGE Damage Buff on pets but maybe extra snakes for buffs for pets or simple slots for collars, back and mask. Yeah I know you say your CRAZY!!! Been to Iraq and back Bomb dogs rule and have survived some serious stuff out there they look like hunter pets LOL...
A collar that adds +3 Stam etc. you really gona cry about +3 stam but you know what it would make hunters happy because they got a little loving.

Hunters are OP in PVP and worthless in PVE. There I just made a hunter wiki in 2 seconds.
