Postcards from the Undercity

A rogue has never been my main, so I've never had the pleasure of stealthing in to an opposing faction city just to explore, like Gweedo has. Sure, I've done my share of charging into the gates of an enemy cities, and even done a bit of corpse-hopping touristry once I've gotten there. (Did you realize that the tram between Stormwind and Ironforge is considered neutral territory? On a PvE server, once you get down there, you can stay and visit with the Alliance for as long as you'd like!) But it's not quite the same as stealthing all the way to the faction leader and stabbing them in the back. I'm going to need to level my rogue some more purely for the pleasure of having such an experience -- but in the meantime, we can all live vicariously through Gweedo's tale of stealth and subterfuge.

You don't need to be a rogue for that. On the server I play horde (EU pvp server) I stealthed into StormWind and through Darnassus. The look of the little nightelves is just priceless when a level 60 tauren druid in cat form suddenly appears and rescues them from those 3 mobs they can't handle, only to disappear like the wind.
Oh and let me advise you this: don't park your stealthed char too long in the opposing factions city. I managed to park my trusty druid in Storm Wind... just about the time when the BC content patch was applied. Problem was, now the talent points were reset, so my improved stealth was gone. Also the now-level-65 guards smelled my poor tauren about 10 miles against the wind...
...apart from that its great fun. ;-)

Liz, I love you. :-) We seriously need to do coffee some day. You gonna be in Canada anytime soon? :)

Don't need stealth i took my nice Shaman to the NE starting area and ganked the gaurds, best is when you get three or four Noobz wailing on you just funny, till you chain lighting them then they kinda stand back and watch. i think they get annoyed when you kill all the quest givers though. Only did this once, then left them alone and just killed guards, getting on the boat is the fun part.

Could you please permanently IP-ban "brian"? Another one of those doggamned spamming $ sellers.

Lets see how long he'd last if he did stab Sylvannas in the back.

Did Sylvannas. Had to flash out since EVERY guard in Undercity came running to help. Made it out alive to tell the tale though...

Deliliah and I actually got the coin in the Throne room of Undercity for the lunar festival and got out without dying. Priest and Rogue, though it was luck that no one was running through there at the time. Of course when we ran into 3 60's at the city gates on our way out, while we were 40's we knew our luck had run out.
