Around Azeroth: Meet Nozdormu

Reader Bendak of Shadow Moon sends in a shot of this up close and personal meeting with Nozdormu inside the Caverns of Time. It looks to me like a dwarf wouldn't even be half a bite for Nozdormu, so I'm glad we're on friendly terms with him just now.

Sorry to burst your bubble, this isn't Nozdormu. Here's an excerpt from WoWWiki with an explanation.
"In the Caverns of Time, there is an hourglass-shaped sculpture, with an untargetable dragon sleeping in the bottom half. Though this was speculated to be Nozdormu, it was found that Hunters using Track Dragonkin in the Caverns can see that the dragon's name is not Nozdormu, but Zaladormu."

True story.
Not even the Aspects can track down Nozdormu all the time. What are the odds any of us will ever just run into him?

Ah, that's good to know. I was hoping that Blizz wouldn't just give one of the great Dragon Aspects a standard dragon model (made semi-transparent).
Here's what he's supposed to look like:
(from Day of the Dragon)
"At last, even the sandstorm appeared to realize that he would not be deterred. It swept away from him, now focusing on a dune a short distance away. A funnel of dust arose, pushing higher and higher into the sky. The funnel took on a shape...a dragon's shape. As large as, if not larger than Malygos, this sandy creation moved, stretched dusty brown wings. Sand continued to add to the dimension of the behemoth, but sand seemingly mixed with gold, for more and more the leviathan forming before Krasus glittered in the blazing light of the desert sun. The wind died, yet not one grain of sand or gold broke from the draconic giant. The wings flapped hard, the neck stretched. Eyelids opened, revealing gleaming gemstones the color of the sun."
So there we go. Sand and gold and dust, with gemstones for eyes. And way more huge.
