From my experience Outland throws in a new set of rules for lvling in general. Questing at lower levels is no doubt the easiest way to lvl, and we all know how quickly lvling seams to go until we get to a certain point. But, I have completed several quests, killing countless mobs in the process and I am barely 25% of the way into 60. If I jumped on a lvl fifty something toon, a lvl twenty something toon, or anything in between and I’d completed the same number of quests killing the same number of mobs, I’d be about ready to DING to my next level at this point.
Now, maybe I’ve gotten spoiled lvling my new BC toons, because rep and xp are almost too easy to come by with the new starting areas. But, Outland is its own world with its own lvling rules even when looking at pre-BC areas. Although, I must admit, I feel like I wasted the past three months playing the new races instead of lvling to 70 in Outland. It is much more interesting.
Oh yeah, I was going to ask how rep worked with those grey quests, but someone already posted that. Thanks Rich.
