Nihilum downs Vashj

We knew it was coming. And now it's happened: Lady Vashj is down at the hands of Nihilum.
And just as Eliah suspected the other day, the Fang of Vashj dropped with her-- at 92.8 DPS, it is now the highest DPS one-handed anyone-can-use weapon in the entire game (the weaponsmithing weapons are a little better, but only for specialized blacksmiths). Healing Pally gloves also dropped (Plate +20 spell crit and +48 healing), as well as a few vials from the Well of Eternity (which might actually be one of the most powerful items ever given to players, if you think about it), two of those elusive Nether Vortexes, and a Tier 5 helm token for Warriors, Priests, or Druids.
The picture on Nihilum's site shows her respawning right over her corpse, so it looks like, as they say, "tuning is needed." But grats to Nihilum on downing Lady Vashj for a world first. Next up: Kael?

well if she spawned right on top of her body then wouldn't you just be able to farm her or watever? "ok 10 minute bio break then we'll do this again" sounds a little weird to me. : \

@5-
Assuming you brought consumables for not one- but two runs, and managed to rez everyone that was dead, and get everyone back to peak buff/performance status (i.e. 'Ready') in the time it takes to blink- yeah.
If you clicked through the images, you'd notice a good chunk of the raid was dead after the first kill. Not to mention the ones alive weren't at 100%. It'd be difficult to rez/heal/buff everyone, rez pets, and maintain her aggro at the same time...
It would be quite a feat though..

@9 they do let girls in thier guild, and they have girls on thier guild, read the wow radio interview and you will realize it iwas a misunderstanding

With enough unemployment, Top Ramen, neglect of both personal hygiene and real-life interpersonal relationships, I could probably down Vashj too! Well, probably.
Why are "we", as computer game nerds, holding up as our champions even bigger loser computer game nerds as "heroes"?

Guernia -- I don't think anyone called anyone heroes. People who run into burning buildings to save children are heroes. Nihilum is skilled at WoW, and since this is a WoW blog, we can congratulate them on achieving a world first.

by the way, if i'm not mistaken, the next one they have to do is Tempest Keep: The Eye. Once they down Kael'Thas then they'll be able to go into Hyjal.
