Patch 2.0.12 now live on the PTRs

Yep, you read that correctly. We've got a new patch up and running on the public test realms. As you may have guessed from the patch number, the official changes in this patch are relatively minor (this isn't 2.1 or anything!), primarily consisting of bug fixes. (These patch notes are via a post on the forums by Drysc. However, official patch notes should show up here tomorrow.) Can't wait to find out what's in store? Well, don't get too excited, because here they are:
Mac
- Improved memory usage and stability under Mac OS X 10.4.9 using multi-threaded OpenGL
- Attempting to turn in a guild charter with a signature from a player that formed his own guild will no longer result in an inappropriate error message.
- Using the customer support "Auto-Unstuck" will now trigger the one-hour cooldown on the player's hearthstone.
- Players will no longer be able to see their opponents in the Combat Log of an Arena match-up before the game starts.
- Eye of the Storm: Players should no longer be able to exit the bubble before the match starts.
- The gate at the top of the elevator in Mechanar will now remain open while attempting the gauntlet and after Pathaleon the Calculator is killed.
- The Escape from Durnholde event will no longer break during the church part of the encounter.
- Various localization fixes have been applied.

I'd like to see them fix the hunter's snake trap so that it triggers town guards. Right now, it's a source of endless entertainment for high level hunters.

The multi-threaded OpenGL thing is a big deal if you play on a mac. The synergy of hardware and software on a mac is the ideal situation for games but hardly any game developers take advantage of it. This will hopefully be a step in the right direction for WoW on the mac (not that it isn't already awesome).

Oh noes! Auto-unstuck is gone...whats the point of it now...u could always use your hearth when you were stuck.
No more 2 hearths/hour.../cry

Speak for yourself on that last one. The guild has had 5 or 6 old hillsbrad runs where Thrall fell asleep in the church and some members have been on every single one of them. PITA.

Please Blizzard add Cut Citrine into the game! It's been months with no word on when it's going to be added. Jewelcrafters are waiting!

"Using the customer support "Auto-Unstuck" will now trigger the one-hour cooldown on the player's hearthstone."
WTF? Are people using this feature as it is to work around the use of hearthstones? Hah hah.

Hey, wow. They didn't fuck with Priests this time.
Too bad they still WON'T FUCKING FIX THEM.

Bout time the fix the mage cheat in Eye of Storm. So many mages exploit the blink out of bubble and capture points before the game begins..
Guernia Mar 29th 2007 6:43PM
@1: They'll "fix" the Vann "exploit" just as soon as they get around to balancing the AV map to be fair to both Alliance and Horde i.e. never.
Until then: Working as Intended.
Back to on topic, this is the second most boring patch ever, only slightly behind that hugely boring one from a couple weeks back.
