Around Azeroth: And one lone murloc

Of course we all know that murloc can't really be alone -- murlocs always travel in groups, the better to eat you with! However, reader Sidrageous sent in this very cool panoramic screenshot with no indication of how it was taken. Is it several screenshots pasted together? Is it some sort of resolution that can be done natively with two monitors? I'm not sure, but imagine it would be awfully pretty to play WoW like that all the time.

I wonder what location that is.

With an image size of 3840x1024, my guess is that it's a triple head setup, with each monitor running at a resolution of 1280x1024 (1280*3 = 3840, get it?)

Poor murloc is lonely! For some reason I like those little slimy guys.

Peter is right. I run a Matrox TripleHead2Go in 3840x1024 resolution, and that's just how screenshots turn out.

They may travel in groups, but they walk single-file to hide their numbers.

I think this pic was taken in Dustwallow Marsh (you can see the top of one of Theramore's towers in the bottom-middle part of the screenshot.

I take screenshots for use with my dual 21" LCD's. Here are some of the results at a nice 3200x1200:

Looks like the Murloc islands on the east coast of Dustwallow Marsh, and three 1280x1024 screens. But that has already been said, of course :).
They’re nice screenshots, but it’s not so crazy though; my laptop already has a 1650x1050 resolution, that’s half the widt of that screenshot, so I only need one more external screen to get a view like that :). I’m not sure my eyes would be able to fully capture the view in one glance though.
