Preview: Black Temple bosses
MMO-Champion is at it again (Boubouille has just been doing a bangup job showing off content from this 2.1 patch!), and this time, he's somehow delved into the Black Temple and pulled out screengrabs of (most of) the bosses. As of this writing, there's no Illidan grabs yet, but that may still be coming.
Since we killed the site off the last time we linked to it, I've gone ahead and mirrored the Boss shots: Here's High Warlord Naj'entus (he's the Naga-looking thing we saw last time), Supremus, Teron Gorefiend (judge me by my size, do you?), Gurtogg Bloodboil (the best looking one, in my opinion), Mother Shahraz, and Essence of Souls (the last one appears to be an encounter of sorts, and it's probably where that three faced boss-- Desire, Grief, Anger-- appears).
Boubouille has also grabbed a layout of the class trinkets available at the Exalted levels of the Ashtongue Deathsworn rep, so you can know right now what you're going to be working for. I have to admit that all the content looks sweet, but just like all really high level content, I wonder how many people are actually going to see it. The Black Temple seems fun, but to tell the truth, I'm actually looking forward to the Ogri'la and Sethekk quest areas more.

They all look so cool, too bad I'll never get to see it =/

The bottom most screenshots, number 50. That'll be where we find Illidan?

wow... those trinkets are ... pretty nice. As a paladin, that's pretty much the best thing ever. Extra DoT and Extra HoT.
Maybe the Illumination nerf really was necessary if they keep giving us goodies like these.

I'd like to add that while it may be very high "level" content, they are releasing it sufficently before the next expansion that there should be plenty of time for people to get there. There was only about a 7 month block of time between the release of Naxx and the expansion (and remember the expansion came later than expected so Blizzard planned for Naxx to be the latest instance even less time). And considering that best case scenario puts the next expansion in January, that's more time. Also, I'd like to add that it took Blizzard well over a year to make tBC. They had a pre-Alpha version available at BlizzCon in 2005, and it still wasn't ready until January of 2007 (so an average turnaround time of 1.5 years per expansion). Now, unless they have already started the next expansion, but been super hush-hush about it (yeah, I remember the post about the files listed for "expansion_2" but that's hardly concrete info nor does it give us a timeframe), or they've massively sped up expansion production time, I doubt we'll see the next expansion for a year or more. I would expect a few more major content patches, with additional quest hubs in some zones, plus the addition of the Zuul'Aman 10-man raid instance will keep people not too bored.

honestly, i'd rather have ilumination the way it is than a trinket whose entire load is lower than a single renew or rejuv tick.
even if it gets a full boost from +healing (i kinda doubt it, but who knows), 10% to proc a 440 hp HoT is pretty anemic. i wouldn't equip it over a mp/5 trink.
