PTR notes: Massive 2.1 roundup at MMO-Champion

The internets have generally been going crazy over 2.1 information every since the PTRs went live, with us being no exception. So if you've lost track of all the new information that's come out, I don't blame you. Fortunately, MMO-Champion has come to the rescue again, with this massive infodump full of pretty much everything we know about 2.1 so far. There's not very much new information, but here's what he has that I hadn't seen before:
- New loading screens
- Black Temple screenshots (lots)
- A couple gear pieces filed under Northrend
- New gems

Oh man, that warlock tier 6 makes me fall on the floor laughing every time I see it, especially the gnome version. XD

I think the druid set definitely sucks compared to the warlock set for example >:(

I find it a little dis hearting that blizzard is showing/developing gear when players current can't obtain most of the current gear.
It's pretty to look at but lets be honest less that 10% of the wow population will actually ever get some of that gear that is listed.

I can't believe no-one thinks those wings for the warlock T6 are edited in. I mean, believe you me, I wouldn't mind it. But no other armor has anything REMOTELY as flashy and obnoxious as that, so why are we believing it?

@6 - You fail at watching video, or playing with model viewers. When the headpiece is equipped the wings appear. No other time.

Why are we believing it? Because it's the Warlock set. Warlock sets are always insanely flashy.
Tier 0: Big skulls with horns, shroud with glowing eyes
Tier 1: Horns, Seussian neon spikes
Tier 2: Big snake heads, and even bigger horns
Tier 3: More Seussian neon spikes, Tusken Raider face
Tier 4: Freaky glowing face, dark black void
Tier 5: Crazy spikes and chains
Tier 6: Huge friggin' wings!
Take away the wings, and the set doesn't stand apart from the others in any freakish, insane ways.

The druid tauren in T6 gear is so superfluously American Indian it belongs in a black velvet painting with a bald eagle on top of a NASCAR vehicle super imposed over the World Trade Center. The Night Elf druid with the handlebar mustache just looks like a member of the Village People.

I have to say the warlock teir 5 is way cooler looking than this teir 6. Other than the awesome wing affect the teir 6 looks kinda.... like a praying mantis of death or something.

The warlock Tier 6 is very nice, I admit. But the Tier 6 mage set is awful! It makes Mages look like a suppository.

I think the Warlock set is actually very clever if the look is intentional. What I cryptically mean by this is;
It's Red
It looks like a Bull
It gives you wings.
Anyone familiar with the "Red Bull gives you Wings" add campaigns should get a laugh from this set.
