Around Azeroth: Danger, Will Robinson!

Dragons' end may be one of the most graphically incredible areas in the game. Honestly, is there anything more incredible than the sight of these massive dragons impaled on the rocks thoughout the canyons? Reader Stalwart of Perenolde sends us this shot, which he took while riding an ordinary gryphon from Area 52 to Telredor. Fortunately, notes Stalwart, his gryphon has better navegational skills than the black dragonflight did.

I find it hard to believe that these dragons ended up there as a result of poor navigational skills... and doesn't that big fat son of gruul hanging around below have a smug smirk across his face? Suspicious...

I'm thinking Gruul did it, since his name is Gruul the Dragonkiller and stuff.

Funny how members of the black dragonflight don't seem to rot... :'0

Lorewise, it's Gruul and his sons- BaboonNL is right. Ever notice how pissed off Baron Sablemane is at Gruul and company? Yeah, this is why.

It's visuals like these that at times make you forget you are playing a game. The first time I observed this sight I actually stopped what I was doing and just looked for a while.
As big as WoW is, sometimes it doesn't feel like such a huge game, as inevitably you frequent many of the same zones repeatedly, as opposed to any requirement to travel to any great degree throughout the World(s). Images like this really enlarge the in game world for me, as they ultimately lead one to question their origins, and that spark of interest is what makes WoW a real treat at times.
