How to die (without style)
Over on his blog, Gitr discusses the many ways in which one can die when playing a warrior after playing a priest for 64 levels. And oh -- I feel his pain. There's a reason I always play healing classes that stretches beyond helping others. There's no better way to save yourself than with a quick power word: shield or a timely psychic scream. While I've never seriously played a warrior, Gitr lists a few ways to die that I'm completely familiar with:- Wait until you get to 1000HP and try to heal yourself.
- Spam the Bubble key over and over again to deflect damage.
- Aggro too much and try to Psychic Scream.

My main is a mage, and I often find myself trying to blink while playing my rogue.

My priest always has too much health and not enough mana. I keep trying to lifetap her down, but it never works.

my main is a Rogue... and when I'm playing my warrior or mage and keep hitting my vanish button (oh sh*t button) woops!

The reverse is also true, my main is a warrior and my alt is a priest. I find so many times trying to do things with my priestess that I forget that I am not a tank...

I keep trying to stealth my paladin.

Eh, same here.
I occasionally see my teammates going down on health in parties- and stop DoT'ing to look for my PW:S or Greater Heal button. I spend a few minutes pressing the hotkey it is on my Priest, then I peruse my bars quickly, and remember all those Warlock themed spells are there for a reason.
No heals though...
Hm..

My main was a hunter, but I've been playing a warrior, priest, a BE Pally, and rogue for the last 5 months - I still hit "Ctrl-1" way to often to start a battle. I find that switching character that often (I like to play the rested bar) is exciting and fun (aka - WTF button did I just hit - why isn't my priest vanishing...) I find it fun (real fun) to do a series of quests with one character class and then log in on a completely different kind and do to same quests... But I love each classes "last-ditch" effort... I just wish I could remember which one I should be using in the few seconds I have to spare.

I've played a priest, warlock (to 60) and druid and paladin to 70, so apart from my warlock, I've put all my similar acting keys in the same button so that I don't get confused, i.e. putting flash heal, regrowth and flash of light all on my "=" button, that sort of thing.
Of course, it still doesn't help to remove the reflex of pushing '6' (bubble on my pally) when I'm low on health in BGs. I usually end up putting a measly rejuv on my druid...

No matter what caster class I play - I'm always looking for that Lifetap...what, you mean it's not a standard feature? I can run out of mana?
And to PLex - yeah, I guess not - so come up with something.

I've wondered why my demon pet isn't taking aggro off my mage.
I've gone "How am I dying so fast?" when switching from a feral druid to a priest.
And for every class I've made I find myself saying "I don't remember what this button does..." a lot. Except for my druid. :D

I always watch the enemy cast bar so that I can hit counterspell if I see anything nasty coming my way.
..until my pally did a lay on hands one time when an enemy was about to heal. I was already 100% health.
I moved that button pretty quickly! I think I made it something harmless like resurrection. At least I could cancel that by moving.

I tend to forget to change profiles on my G15 keyboard when I switch to an alt. Hiting a Priest Gkey with the Warlock assignments up can result in some weird happenings. Or sometimes nothing happens. WTF!!! Where is my bubble????
