WoW Moviewatch: And now the news...
In the spirit of Blizzard's own Gnomeregon Gnews Gnetwork, 619 Productions brings us "And now the news." This episode features an interview with Thrall himself. (Does contain some not safe for work language -- you've been warned!)

Wow lame machinima, but what else is new Liz Harper posted it... keep trying Liz! Can't wait to see what other asinine postings you have in store for us! yay! ^_^
here's a tip: post something that's actually interesting or funny! /wrists

Ah, bad machinima. A rare mix of great planning, bad voice-acting, dodgy filming/editing and stolen humour. Thankfully, in this case, only one guy is to blame; more people participating in something lame just spreads the aggro around.
Nevertheless, keep posting these vids Liz; not because you have a Moviewatch feature to maintain, more because we need to see bad movies every so often to remind us how good the occasional good ones are.

You guys get to work on making those better moves 1 & 2, so we have something better to watch 'mmk? It wasn't *that* horrible. Geesh. Go farm some more motes.

yeah those last three comments were obviously posted by the same dumbass. Looks like someone needs a hobby!
lol

It's these kinds of comments that keep little movie makers from continuing to create WoW movies.
Yeah, I make bad WoW movies. I don't have the software required for amazing edits, or the budget to throw at getting such programs.
But, I really enjoy creating something from nothing and at least trying to be creative. The posted video was nicely done... it's not Illegal Danish, but you know what, not every little movie can be.
Give them a break.

It just wasn't funny, and the Delta ad was actually bordering on - if not outright crossing the line into - being racist.
But really, the argument that people should refrain from criticizing bad movies because if they don't, less of them would be made is... wow, I can't even say it. That's right, we need more mediocrity.
Sure, trying to come up with something creative is good, but if you know that the end result is crappy, you don't actually have to publish it and embarrass yourself, do you?

Do not watch this video stoned. You'll have no clue wtf is going on. I'm guessing it wouldn't be too much better sober though either.

The delta ad was from the Airplane films. The sequel I think.

The Delta thing was another internet joke, with little connection to Wow, and was really, really boring.
Creativity is good. This was not creative, not in the least. From the settings, to the jokes (Bad Connection, hard to understand undead, the anchor's name, ect), nothing wasn't done elsewhere better first.
That said, the idea of chaining a gnome to a table to eat it is cute, if a little disturbing. But horde races doing horrible things to non-human alliance races has been done before too.
Try harder. Be funnier. Good movie makers don't try to copy other people's jokes, or at least don't go after obvious things. They try lots of things often before hitting something that works well.
Don't give up, but try some different angles.
Oh, and don't use that font. It screams "DEFAULT CHOICE". If you don't have good fonts, go on the web and search for "Free Fonts". You'll find tons of interesting typefaces.
Anyway, Oxhorn, please man, give us something new! Hell, narrate Noblegarden egg hunting or something!

Gnome sushi!! /snork That's got to be a world first.
"slap the hair off of it and chain it down because I'm hungry" has got to be the funniest thing I've heard at the office all week. I'm sorry, but it made me laugh, bad acting and all.
Good job.

The Delta ad can be found at 98online.com and is done by the morning comedy team of Kirk, Mark and Lopez out of Baltimore. They have a large collection of "twisted" tunes and skits generally based on Baltimore happenings.
Other than the ripoff of Delta skit, I have the same complaint as a lot of video, both professional and amateur: sound. Why is it one voice is super low and the next is so high it breaks your speakers? Generally work on that.
