Around Azeroth: Peek-a-boo

Reader Grenz sends us this unique shot taken in Winterfall. To explain how he took it, he says he noticed one of the stones in the Winterfall graveyard had a hole through it -- so he jumped up on one of the stones behind it and used the hunter ability eagle eye to snap a perfect portrait of himself through the hole. Neato!

Never been to Winterfall. That anywhere near Winterspring?

@1: Yep, it's a furbolg village in eastern Winterspring.
That rock looks like it could be the same model used as the moonkin stones in Darkshore and other similar woods-like areas. They've got a glowing blue stone in them right where that hole is.

Sorry but this looks completely photoshoped. The level of detail through the hole looks a lot higher than the level of detail of the surrounding terrain

Completely have to agree with #4......The tree trunk in the background of the hole looks big enough that the tree should be peeking out above the rock.

Being a hunter, I would call a fake pic, or at least a fake explanation(maybe time frame issue? can't remember if that has always been that way...). As it currently stands your character will be in a channeling spell state while casting eagle eye. He is not casting. But still an interesting screenshot idea.

Hey! You used it! Awesome. I don't get why everyone thinks I faked it. I don't even own Photoshop (or the GIMP or anything else like that) let alone know how to use it. One reason for the weird graphical issues might be because I play with pretty much the lowest graphical settings possible because my laptop can't handle much more than that. Honest to God though, the shot's 100% real.

Ah, that explains it, I have played on different settings myself could have been why I thought the animation had changed at some point. Nice picture btw.
