As an aside from what I've seen here I'm a 17-3-41 Build and I've yet to be out DPSed in any group I've been in. It's a non templated dmg build I've made for Burst Raid damage but with numerous affliction talents I can still simmer down for longer fights and conserve. I have almost 11k mana buffed, 22% crit chance buffed (+5% to destro and a further + 3% to Shadowbolts) and just under 800 spell dmg buffed.Buffed = MoTW, Arcane Int, Fort, Wizard oil, adepts elix.My Shadowbolts regularly crit for 4k+ (considering I have +29% to SB crit chance). My spell rotation isImmo - Corr - COS - Trinket - SB - SB - SB - Conflag. I have a mix of level 70 blues and Kharazhan epics, everything enchanted and gemmed. On Bosses I tend to go OOm slower than Mages but faster than affliction locks. I Life Tap for around 1500 and suppliment this with Drain Life (imp soul siphon + SB debuff = Mucho's health)All in all I out dps everything on trash, and just about keep pace with Affliction locks on Boss fights. Fights that require burst damage are my real niche though. For those who discount Shadowfury.. It's an awesome tool and the reason for this are well disginguished. Perhaps after Kharazhan I'll see it's utility decline and if this be the case I will respec accordingly, but atm, I don't leave home without it.
