More item tweaking going down on the PTRs
If you thought the item stats tweaking was over, think again. When players were amazed that the new Tankatronic Goggles saw a nice buff (that could actually compete with Tier 6), Kalgan showed up with a firebomb: the current build on the PTRs only has about a third of the item changes coming down. He says "nearly every level 70 epic item in the game is in the process of being updated."Curse has a few of the changes already-- blacksmithing weapons and armor have been boosted, arena weapons saw a buff, and (most exciting for me, since I'm not a blacksmith or a good PvPer), the Badge of Justice stuff has been improved a bit. So expect a lot of changes (for the better, so far) whenever the patch does come out. In fact, with all these buffs, I'm wondering if something is going to give. Hopefully, the devs decided to buff the high end stuff, rather than nerf the more obscure items.
Oh, and the look of the Mongoose enchant has changed yet again. I'm glad that whoever's job it is to design that enchant is really taking the time to make sure it's exactly right.

I also am a victim of websense, and oh how I deride that company with a passion.
Having said that, as far as I know, epic items will be slightly more epic than their current more blueish kind of epicness. Epic socket items should see the most changes afaik. Some items may just see a redistribution of stats that are more inline with the intended spec / use of an item etc etc.
Mostly though, screw websense.

I didn't check all the Arena items. But the Daggers, Shanker and shiv were debuffed, not buffed. They are 1 dps lower now.

I think most businesses now days are wtfpwned by websense. Try mmo-champion.com and see if that works. They have everything up to date as far as the PTR goes. I can't get to any gaming websites, but I can get there. Give it a shot.

I'm working on getting a picture gallery up for you guys at work, but our gallery interface is being all wonky, it may not work out. In the future, that's what I'll do from the start.

@8 -
This is considered a blog and depending on the restrictions your company has set up with Websemse, I would assume they let blogs through.

Gotta say I'm looking forward to the changes. The Violet Eye caster ring at Exalted is buffed up to +29 dmg - I'm hoping that they are going to go through and apply the same ideas to a lot of the Karazhan epics. I'm not a tailor/echancter and I hate maximizing damage at the cost of other stats. I really liked the Karazhan loot for the well rounded stats - intellect, stamina, hit and +dmg. On the other hand, it's pretty frustrating to know that I'd never have as much firepower as someone with the right professions.

Websense is a biatch. I used server proxies for a while, but they caught on to that too...
Anyways, on topic, finally made my BOP Plate armor last night. Good to hear its getting a buff, although I am happy with it already.

any idea if the Scryer epic dagger has been changed? I mean, 1 dps lower doesnt matter to me since its only an off hander, but the dagger itself could use a slight buff. Doesn't seem too epic to me, and all the time i put into farming for it.
