Around Azeroth: Those goblins have the strangest taste...

I think that the goblin statue in Booty Bay is kind of eerie (there's nothing welcoming about a goblin, open arms or no), but this one outside of Area 52 in Netherstorm -- sent in by reader Rolaw of Ursin -- takes creepiness to an entirely new level. Something about that toothy grin is very unsettling... (Do goblins really have that many teeth?)

That one IS disturbing! I've never cared for the one in Booty Bay, either. The goblins aren't nice.

The Booty Bay goblin and now the one in Area 52 have always reminded me of the spanish monk statues [like Junipero Serra] along the highways in California.
It's a decent bet that's what their modeled after. Blizzard development is in SoCal, and it's reasonable that their developers drive ;)

The one in booty bay is called Janeros point, or close enough, im thinking its a clone of the jesus statue in Rio de Janerio
