Breakfast topic: DND
I've never put up a Do Not Disturb message -- as a rogue, I'm just not popular enough to warrant constant group invitations. But I know they're a must for tanks, healers, raid leaders, and quasi-famous people who don't want to be bothered, and as my paladin levels higher I'm beginning to think I might want one in the future. Holyo of Kilrogg has started a forum thread asking people for their best DND messages, and the forums have responded:
- <DND>: Playing D&D.
- <DND>: _____ is ignoring you.
- <DND>: No.
- <DND>: Do you really think I have two other people out here in the middle of nowhere to summon you?
- <DND>: I have 1/2 in Imp Sap. How lucky do you feel?
- <DND>: It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
What's your DND message?

I bounce back and forth between feral and resto a lot, depending on what the guild needs. The tells come in all day, "Hey are feral?" "Hey wanna tank ___ for us?" "Hey wanna heal ___ for us?" About 2 to 1 tanking to healing.
This post gave me a great idea to cut down on that dramatically.
Im a BOOMKIN

I'm a druid as well, and fairly well known on my server. I get near constant spam for tanking/healing, or invites to raids when a guilds short a healer. And of course, the beggars.
And, of course, the constant "Are you feral/resto?"
Here's mine. "I'm no spec'd."

On my 70 Warlock:
"I don't have two people with me to summon you"
"If I wanted to do instances I'd be IN one"
(and for when I'm in low-level areas"
"Boosts through instances cost 10G per half hour"

+1 for the druids. I constantly get spammed for tanking/healing ... CONSTANTLY. I can't take much more, seriously. Why can't Blizzard put together some sort of privacy rules in the chat system?? ... such as; only allow whispers from friends/guild, block all whispers, afk/dnd messages ON MOUSEOVER, and/or allow all spam.
38 minutes in Kara last night, 247 messages ... WTF!!!!!!! Yes, I counted ... its not easy to make lines on a piece of paper while trying to dps curator adds.
My goal for today: Find a mod that will block anyone under level 60. I don't care if its whisper, general chat, trade, wtf ever ... I just want to play without seeing more purple/pink text than guild chat.
