WoW Moviewatch: World of Final Fantasy
Well, our friends over at WarcraftMovies.com have done it again; this time recreating our favorite MMO with the old-school stylings of Final Fantasy! Watch and enjoy and bask in the retrospective nostalgia.
For those that happen to have no idea what the Final Fantasy series is, let me enlighten you. The series began in Japan in 1987 with a turn-based cartridge game for the original Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Square. The series is still alive and kicking, having released Final Fantasy 12 just last fall. The classic menu style, music, and Chocobo reference are amazingly funny. I love this video!

wow it really does a good job of reminding me just how boring final fantasy is.

Haha good one, but with to many borrowings from FF, like Power Break oder an priest with mage spells.ôO
A FF-like boss fight would be nice.XD A UBER HARDCORE boss(aka cockblockers), like the ones right now in Hyal.^^

Classic? The music and all that is from 7. Classic would be anything BEFORE 7, I think. Funny video, though. Reminds me that some people have way too much time on their hands. Can I have some of that time? Please? ;-) Then I could play more.

Hmm yeah I watched it and thought 'man thank gawd WOW doesn't use the same combat system'. Could you imagine it being implemented for 25-mans? or 40-mans??

I don't know, the summon animation wasn't nearly long enough... *has flashback to Knights of the Round summoning sequence*
